    Abstract: A method of inflating a tire and a bag fitted over a tire during inflation. The bag is constructed so as to substantially envelope an exposed outer surface of a tire during inflation, whereby in the event of the tire exploding the bag contains the debris of the explosion, and allows the compressed air from the tire to escape.
