  • Publication number: 20220182755
Abstract: Systems and methods herein provide directed sound to venues, including a queue line and locations offering multiple viewing devices with different audio streams. Directed sound can be sent to various locations in the queue line to reach specific individuals, positions in the queue line, etc. A queue rate may be used to determine current locations in the queue line. The directed transmission of sound waves can provide the directed sound through modulation of the sound on an ultrasonic carrier. In connection with directing sound to a specific location in a venue, one or more individuals can be tracked according to an indoor positioning system to send a sound message using a modulated ultrasonic carrier.

  • Patent number: 11014052
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing a palladium-based permeation membrane which is suitable for the separation of hydrogen from gas-gas or liquid-gas mixtures. The permeation membrane is produced by applying a palladium complex, dissolved in a solvent, to a nanoporous support system having pores in a size range of from 0.5 nm to 50 nm, removing the solvent by drying, removing of organic constituents of the palladium complex by a heat treatment, and carrying out a final heat treatment under reducing conditions at a temperature ranging from about 300° C. to about 900° C.

  • Publication number: 20190070568
Abstract: Disclosed is a permeation membrane and a method for producing a permeation membrane. The permeation membrane can be used in particular in the field of membrane-based material separations. The permeation membrane is composed of an inorganic semi-permeable substance in which an additional substance is incorporated in some locations such that existing intermediate spaces in the semi-permeable substance are at least partly filled by the additional substance and thus only the intermediate spaces are blocked for a permeating species.

  • Publication number: 20150241563
Abstract: A method and apparatus for monitoring the movement and activity of targets is provided. The method comprises the steps of initially detecting electromagnetic (EM) radiation reflected by the target and recording spectral information relating to it and detecting EM radiation reflected by a target at a later time and again recording spectral information relating to it. The spectral information relating to the initially detected and later detected targets is then compared, so as to establish whether the initially detected and later detected targets are the same.
