Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer program products for dynamically blocking and unblocking media over packet resources includes, at a first media gateway controller that controls a first media over packet resource, determining whether establishment of calls involving a second media over packet resource managed by second media gateway controller would violate a policy of the first media gateway controller. In response to determining that the establishment of calls involving the second media over packet resource would violate a policy of the first media gateway controller, the first media gateway controller may send a message to the second media gateway controller for limiting the establishment of calls involving the second media over packet resource.

Abstract: Object-based operation and maintenance (OAM) systems and related methods and computer program products are disclosed. One exemplary system includes a computer comprising a memory. The computer is in communication with a network comprising a network-attached components operating in an OAM system. The system can also include an object-based representation of the network stored in the memory. The object-based representation comprises objects linked together in the memory to form a hierarchy. Each of the objects represent the network or the network-attached components. In addition, each of the objects stores attribute information about the network or the network-attached components with regard to the OAM system. Further, the system can include an application for interpreting and utilizing the object-based representation of the network for operating and maintaining the network and network-attached components in the OAM system.

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing SIP trunk groups are disclosed. A SIP call processor identifies an incoming SIP trunk group based on one or more parameters associated with an incoming SIP message. The SIP call processor selects per-trunk-group call processing data based on the incoming SIP trunk group. The SIP call processor selectively processes the call based on the per-trunk-group call processing data selected for the incoming SIP trunk group.
