Patent number: 11055301Abstract: An IoT apparatus in use by a user, which is communicatively linked to a mobile device used by the user, is identified. A determination can be made as to whether documentation for the IoT apparatus is located on the IoT apparatus or on a mobile device. Responsive to determining that the documentation is located on the IoT apparatus or on the mobile device, a determination can be made as to whether the documentation located on the IoT apparatus or on the mobile device is a latest version of the documentation. Responsive to determining that the documentation located on the IoT apparatus or on the mobile device is not the latest version of the documentation, the latest version of the documentation can be automatically accessed from a resource external to the IoT apparatus and the mobile device. Presentation of the latest version of the documentation on a display can be initiated.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2018Date of Patent: July 6, 2021Assignee: INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MACHINES CORPORATIONInventors: Rick A. Patent number: 10372921Abstract: Approaches presented herein enable dynamic security policies through a plurality of application profiles. More specifically, a mobile device can open a profile of a plurality of profiles, each associated with an unlock credential and a security scope, in response to an unlock credential associated with that profile. All these profiles can be opened in a single user session and can be swapped within the session in response to an unlock credential corresponding to the desired profile. When the mobile device receives a request to open a digital item, the digital item is compared to a security scope of the opened profile to determine whether access to the digital item is permitted, and, in response to the determination, access to the digital item is permitted or denied. A list of digital items permitted to be accessed in each profile can be synchronized to a list received from a mobile device manager.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2017Date of Patent: August 6, 2019Assignee: International Business Machines CorporationInventors: Sergio Jose Deras Arreola, Alejandra Sarahi Galindo Copado, Victor Adrian Sosa Herrera

Patent number: 10143334Abstract: Collapsible combustion containers are disclosed and described. Such combustion containers generally include a plurality of vertically oriented panels joined by hinges. The hinges include hinge pins that can be configured to form at least part of a base that supports the container or at least part of a heating platform above the container or both. Further, the panels can contain one or more fuel openings which allow a user to control placement of fuel in the container inserted from each opening so as to select a point inside the container where the fuel will converge and combust.Type: GrantFiled: August 19, 2016Date of Patent: December 4, 2018Assignee: Firebox Outdoors LLPInventors: Steven S. Despain, Benjamin W. Probst, Spencer Rogers, Adrian Sosa

Patent number: 10132503Abstract: Collapsible combustion containers are disclosed and described. Such combustion containers generally include a first pair of vertically oriented panels joined by a hinge and a second pair of vertically oriented panels joined by a hinge. The pairs of panels are hinged to one another to form a closed perimeter with a box like shape. One panel of the first pair may further include a relief space feature that creates a relief space so that the second pair of panels may be folded flat between the panels of the first pair when the container is collapsed for storage. Such combustion containers may burn a variety of fuels, including wood and other combustible matter, and be used as a portable stove or heating device and are especially useful during activities such as camping or backpacking, and for emergency preparedness reasons.Type: GrantFiled: July 3, 2017Date of Patent: November 20, 2018Assignee: Firebox Outdoors LLPInventors: Benjamin W. Probst, Steven S. DeSpain, Adrian Sosa
