  • Publication number: 20190008313
Abstract: An apparatus is provided with an outlet, in particular for milk froth, which apparatus can be moved in two or three coordinate directions (x, y, z) using a control unit. When dispensing the fluid, a graphic pattern can thus be created automatically on the surface of the beverage dispensed into the container, preferably coffee. A pivotably housed guide sleeve and a hose element are provided with the outlet, which element can be pivoted in the sleeve and through which element the milk froth passes. This outlet can be moved with the hose element and the guide sleeve in a plane in these two coordinate directions (x, y) above the container in controlled manner, and the milk froth can thus be dispensed into the container. The result is a compact structure of the apparatus and this can be integrated into a coffee machine in a very space-saving manner.

  • Publication number: 20190008314
Abstract: Coffee machine including a housing frame and device for generating coffee, and an integrated device for dispensing milk froth onto a coffee drink in a container. This device, possibly in the form of a robot, includes a dispenser controllable to enable automated movement in two or three coordinate directions, and dispenses the milk froth directly onto a surface of the coffee drink previously poured into the container. An automated movement mechanism controls movement of the dispenser during dispensing of the milk froth to cause automatic and controlled addition of a specific amount of the milk froth onto the coffee drink surface and produce an aesthetically decorative graphic pattern thereon. The specific amount of milk froth remains on and/or beneath the coffee drink surface. The coffee drink is poured into the container and the graphic pattern of milk forth is produced on the coffee drink surface by the same coffee machine.

  • Publication number: 20180244497
Abstract: An elevator car with special measures for evacuation has several side walls, a floor and a ceiling, which together enclose an interior of the elevator car. The elevator car has a flap arranged on one of the side walls and a ladder for evacuating persons from the interior of the elevator car. The flap is movable between a closed state, in which the flap blocks access from the interior of the elevator car to an area behind the flap, and an open state, in which access is possible from the interior of the elevator car to the area behind the flap. The flap has a height less than the height of the side walls. In the closed state of the flap, the ladder is arranged in the area behind the flap. The ladder is removable from behind the flap and can be increased in length for the evacuation.

  • Patent number: 10035683
Abstract: An elevator system includes a first elevator car, a second elevator car, a drive-machine, and a suspension apparatus that passes over a traction sheave of the drive-machine to cause the cars to travel one above the other in a travel space. The suspension apparatus is divided into a first set and a second set. A displacement mechanism fixed in the travel space interacts with the second set between the traction sheave and the second car to vary the distance between the cars. This distance can be adjusted independent of the traction sheave. The displacement mechanism can have a pulley arrangement with a displaceable pulley displaced by a displacement drive to vary a length of a section of the second set between the displacement mechanism and the second car.

  • Publication number: 20180098659
Abstract: Using a steam lance (16), the water vapor and compressed air are supplied to the milk via two pipelines (21, 22) which are separated from one another up to the outlet from the steam lance, wherein only steam is supplied through the outer pipeline (21) at a vapor velocity necessary for breaking up the protein molecules of the milk, whereas a steam-air mixture is supplied through the inner pipeline (22) to enrich the milk with the necessary air proportion, and is only mixed with the steam from the outer pipeline (22) in the milk to be frothed. The steam lance (16) is composed of the two pipelines (21, 22) arranged coaxially to one another, and an end piece (23) which separates them from one another in the outlet area and has outlet openings (24, 25) for the two media, the steam and the steam-air mixture, designed as radial nozzles which are inclined horizontally and also relative to one another.

  • Publication number: 20180086602
Abstract: A support unit for the fastening of a diverting roller to a support structure can be used for supporting a car in an elevator installation. The support unit has two yoke beams and a bearing for the diverting roller. The yoke beams are arranged parallel to one another for fastening to the support structure. On the support unit there are at least two restraint devices that are fastened to the yoke beams and which project into the intermediate space between the yoke beams such that, in the event of failure of the bearing, the restraint devices form a stop to prevent the diverting roller from moving in a support direction under the action of the support force. The support unit is stable, is of simple construction and is of space-saving design.

  • Publication number: 20170164644
Abstract: In a method for producing milk foam, in particular for the preparation of drinks that contain milk foam in a coffee machine, a gaseous medium, in particular air, is delivered to milk conveyed, and the milk/air mixture that is formed is conveyed to an outlet for milk foam or drinks containing milk foam. The consistency of the milk foam that is produced is determined here and is monitored by a regulating process and/or is changed by a setting. Even with variable conditions of use and operation, perfect quality of the milk foam that is produced is guaranteed, in which, moreover, its consistency can be changed.

  • Patent number: 9622618
Abstract: Coffee grinder includes two grinding discs that can be rotated in opposite directions, the axial distance between which defines the degree of grinding of the coffee powder produced. The grinding discs are mounted one over the other within a grinder body, the lower grinding disc being rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation while the upper grinding disc can be adjusted non-rotatably and by an eccentric shaft relative to the lower grinding disc in the direction of the vertical axis of rotation. By rotating the eccentric shaft with a motorized drive, the space between the grinding discs can be changed. This enables almost infinite regulation of the degree of grinding when preparing the coffee.

  • Patent number: 9151124
Abstract: A method for drilling a wellbore includes drilling the wellbore by injecting drilling fluid into a top of a tubular string disposed in the wellbore at a first flow rate and rotating a drill bit. The tubular string includes: the drill bit disposed on a bottom thereof, tubular joints connected together, a longitudinal bore therethrough, a port through a wall thereof, and a sleeve operable between an open position where the port is exposed to the bore and a closed position where a wall of the sleeve is disposed between the port and the bore. The method further includes moving the sleeve to the open position; and injecting drilling fluid into the port at a second flow rate while adding a tubular joint(s) to the tubular string. The injection of drilling fluid into the tubular string is continuously maintained between drilling and adding the joint(s).

  • Patent number: 8925441
Abstract: A coffee machine including a boiler for producing hot water and steam for the preparation of coffee or coffee-containing beverages. A coiled tubing is located in the boiler for producing hot milk or milk froth. Thus, no separate heating element is required for producing the hot milk or milk froth, as the milk or milk froth is heated by the water heated in the boiler for preparing the coffee. The coiled tubing is connected alternately to a milk container and a rinsing water source, so that potential milk residue is flushed out after each milk heating process. A predetermined amount of milk or rinsing water is fed to the coiled tubing by a pump. Thus the milk and rinsing water usage is optimized and the energy consumption is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20140361107
Abstract: The invention relates to a coffee grinder comprising two grinding discs (4, 5) that can be rotated in opposite directions, the axial distance between which defines the degree of grinding of the coffee powder produced. The grinding discs (4, 5) are mounted one over the other within a grinder body (1), the lower grinding disc (5) being rotatable about a vertical axis of rotation (6), while the upper grinding disc (4) can be adjusted non-rotatably and by an eccentric shaft (13) relative to the lower grinding disc (5) in the direction of the vertical axis of rotation (6). By rotating the eccentric shaft (13) with a motorised drive (17) the space between the grinding discs can be changed infinitely. This enables infinite regulation of the degree of grinding when preparing the coffee.
