  • Publication number: 20230192400
Abstract: The present invention relates to a locking garbage can device primarily comprised of a garbage can body with at least one actuator catch, a lid comprised of at least one rod with at least one actuator magnet, and a housing with at least one housing magnet. The lid is comprised of a magnetic locking mechanism that repels the actuator magnet of the rod via like-poled magnetic fields into a catch located in the garbage can body such that the lid cannot be removed from the body. By turning the housing, the housing spins such that a magnet with an opposite polarity of the actuator magnet of the rod attracts the rod toward the housing such that it disengages the catch and the lid can be lifted from the body.

  • Publication number: 20220072313
Abstract: A module for a brain-computer interface includes means for measuring neuronal activity in at least a portion of a population of neurons; means for stimulating at least the portion of the population of neurons; and means for local processing adapted to pre-analyze measured neuronal activity. A hub for a brain-computer interface includes means for powering a for the brain-computer interface by an alternating current (AC), wherein a charge transmitted in a cycle of the AC is below a tissue-damage threshold. A brain-computer interface comprises the module and the hub. A method for interfacing a brain and a computer includes measuring neuronal activity in at least a portion of a population of neurons; pre-analyzing, locally at a module for measuring and stimulating the portion of the population of neurons, measured neuronal activity; and receiving, at a hub for the brain-computer interface, a pre-analysis of the measured neuronal activity.

  • Publication number: 20220022604
Abstract: A method for providing pressure feedback is described herein. The method includes receiving, via a processor, pressure sensor data from a plurality of pressure sensors over a period of time. The method also includes receiving, via the processor, movement data from a plurality of sensors over the period of time. The method also further includes sending, via the processor, pressure sensor data and movement data to a data service. The method also includes receiving, via the processor, a feedback from data service.

  • Publication number: 20210121237
Abstract: Systems and methods describe augmented reality provided for navigated surgery. An augmented reality overlay (e.g. computer generated images) is rendered and displayed over images of a tracked anatomical structure. An optical sensor unit provides tracking images of targets associated with objects including the anatomical structure in a real 3D space as well as visible images thereof. The anatomical structure is registered, generating corresponding poses of the anatomical structure in a computational 3D space from poses in the real 3D space. The overlay pose in the computational 3D space is aligned with the anatomical structure pose so that the overlay is rendered on a display of the anatomical structure in a desired pose. The overlay may be generated from a (3D) overlay model such of a generic or patient specific bone, or other anatomical structure or object. The overlay may be used to register the anatomical structure.

  • Patent number: 10695833
Abstract: A press arrangement and a method for producing and processing compacts from powder material include a controller, a press frame, a pressing unit being disposed on the press frame for pressing the compact and having a die with a cavity for receiving powder material, at least two punches which, together with the cavity, provide a mold for a compact and at least one drive unit for moving at least one punch relative to the other punch along a pressing axis. A further processing module has at least one processing unit for machining a compact by metal cutting. The controller at least partially ejects or removes a compact from the die after pressing and, after the ejection holds the compact clamped between the punches. The controller uses the processing unit to process a compact being at least partially ejected from the die and held clamped between the punches.
