  • Publication number: 20240137530
Abstract: A video encoding method includes classifying a plurality of view images into a basic image and additional images, performing pruning on at least one of the plurality of view images on the basis of the classification result, generating an atlas on the basis of the pruning result, and encoding the atlas and metadata for the atlas. Here, the metadata includes a first flag indicating whether depth estimation needs to be performed on a decoder side.

  • Patent number: 10740504
Abstract: A fiber channel verification system provides a fiber optic network design platform that allows a user to create a graphical mock-up of a fiber optic network design, and performs fault analytics on the proposed design to identify potential faults or problems with the design. The verification system can guide the user through the process of specifying network components such as trunk cables, patch cables, fiber optic cassettes, connectors, or other such components suitable for a given networking application. The verification also allows the user to define connections between the selected components. During development or after the design is complete, the verification system can analyze each channel of network design and identify improper fiber connections, network component incompatibilities, incorrect polarities, excessive insertion or return losses, or other such problems. The verification system can also provide recommendations for eliminating discovered problems where appropriate.
