Abstract: A process for making a portable beverage product may include the steps of: providing a portable container with an aperture; providing a separation device previously equipped with sealing means including at least one removable barrier; inserting an amount of a drinkable liquid into the container; inserting the separation device into the container to form a first chamber containing the liquid, a second chamber, and a connecting path from the first chamber into the second chamber, the connecting path being closed by the removable barrier; inserting at least one second ingredient into the second chamber; closing the aperture of the container with a cover; wherein the separation device is also positioned in such a way that the removable barrier can be removed in response to a user action on the portable beverage product, thus opening the above mentioned connecting path.

Abstract: A can for extemporaneous preparation of beverages by extraction and/or infusion including a first chamber configured to collect a final beverage, a second chamber containing a drinkable liquid, and a filtering device containing a substance to produce the required beverage by extraction and/or infusion. The can is configured to be put onto a heating source after opening the can lid and operating the filtering device by the user. The lid includes: an outer rim portion configured to remain fixed to the can lateral wall when opening the can; an inner removable portion configured to be ripped to open the can; and a predetermined breaking line separating the inner removable portion from the outer rim portion. The breaking line is provided in an annular portion forming part of the lid and made of plastic material. The outer part of the annular portion part of the outer rim portion while the inner part thereof is part of the inner removable portion.

Abstract: The device for extemporaneously preparing a hot beverage anywhere and anytime from a soluble powder comprises a container which is divided into an upper hollow space and a lower hollow space by a baffle. The lower hollow space contains a quantity of drinkable liquid and the upper hollow space a quantity of soluble powder able to produce said beverage. An elongated hollow element is provided, which is open at its two ends and which connects the lower and the upper hollow spaces, sealing membranes are provided for sealing the connection between the upper and the lower hollow spaces through the elongated element. The sealing membranes can be made ineffective by intervention of the user or once a predetermined pressure inside the liquid has been reached.

A baffle is provided to sealedly close the boiler, with the exception of a through hole for sealedly receiving the filter device. The filter device comprises an enclosure closed or closable to form a filter capsule intended to contain the ground coffee and closed or closable independently of whether the coffee maker is assembled. The walls of the capsule are liquid-permeable in a region which communicates with the tube and in at least one other region which communicates with the collection chamber.
