  • Patent number: 11090989
Abstract: A coupling for valve assemblies, for tubeless tires, includes an enclosure arranged to cover a rigid rim of a vehicle, to delimit a substantially tubular compartment, filled with gas under pressure. The coupling has a first element and a second element crossed respectively by a first through channel, threaded internally, and by a second through channel. The second element cooperates with a valve for the selective closure of the second channel. The first element rests on an internal surface of the rim, which can be activated following its hermetic insertion, from the inside of the compartment. The second element rests on an external surface of the rim, which can be activated following the hermetic screwing, from the outside of the compartment, of a threaded stem of the second element in the first channel, with consequent alignment between the channels to connect the compartment to the outside.

  • Patent number: 6942409
Abstract: A bicycle chain cleaner fitted on a spray can of cleaning and lubricating solution, comprising: a lower half-shell and an upper half-shell, which are provided centrally with a flat and elongated tray, respectively for collection and for covering the region where a sprayed solution is dispensed, the half-shells being provided with an inlet and an outlet for the chain, which are aligned and co-planar; articulation elements, which are interposed between the half-shells; elements for coupling to the top of the spray can one of the half-shells; and a sort of trigger, which is associated with the other one of the half-shells in order to make the edges of the half-shells mate, respective brushes with tufts of radial bristles being fitted in the half-shells so that they can rotate, the tufts being adapted to penetrate, when the chain advances in the half-shells, between links of the chain.

  • Patent number: 6267161
Abstract: A carbon-dioxide pump for tires which comprises a dispensing head which is provided with a nosepiece for coupling to the tire valve which is connected to a threaded hole for the hermetic fixing of a bottle of carbon dioxide and to a sliding hole for a needle-equipped pin for piercing the membrane of the bottle which is rigidly coupled to a flow control element of the frustum-shaped type which can be actuated manually so as to rotate in order to hermetically close the bottle after piercing the membrane, a shell for containing the bottle which is screwed hermetically onto the head and on which a handgrip is slidingly fitted with the interposition of guiding and sliding sealing elements which are suitable to provide a short manual pump in which the air compressed by the movement of the handgrip flows between the shell and the bottle and is fed to the nosepiece through a nozzle which is closed by a valve system provided in the head.

  • Patent number: 5167250
Abstract: Pressure gauge for pumps, particularly hand pumps for bicycles, motorcycles or the like, including a cylinder sealingly connected between the outlet of the pump and the coupling for the valve of the tire; a piston is mounted inside the cylinder so that it can move in contrast with an elastic lamina and is connected to a rack which meshes with a rotatable sprocket with which a radial protrusion, provided with a pointer for indicating the pressure on a granduated scale, is rigidly associated.
