The trigger includes a guide element for insertion of a pull wire. and the aiming piece includes a means for supporting at least one positioning wire. The method includes retracting the trigger to move a first bone portion relative to a second bone portion; and inserting a first wire through the supporting means and into the first and second bone portions in a state in which the surgical guide and a draw wire holds relative positions of the bone portions.
