  • Publication number: 20240016158
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a plant disease control composition comprising a culture broth of Streptomyces sp. JCK-6141 strain or an extract of the culture broth of the strain, a preparation method therefor and a plant disease control method. The culture broth of the strain or an extract thereof exhibits extremely excellent antimicrobial activity when applied to a causative pathogen of plant disease and thus may be effectively used for plant disease control.

  • Publication number: 20230087802
Abstract: The present invention relates to a Bacillus subtilis JCK-1398 strain (Accession No. KCTC 14084BP) having induced resistance activity in pine trees and various plants, a pesticidal or antibacterial composition comprising same as an active ingredient, a composition for controlling plant diseases or pests, and a control method using same. The Bacillus subtilis JCK-1398 strain of the present invention was experimentally confirmed to have control activity against pests, nematodes, and fungi, which cause various plant diseases, by inducing resistance in a host. Thus, the Bacillus subtilis JCK-1398 strain of the present invention can be effectively used to control related plant diseases and can be spread over a wide area through foliar spraying, and therefore is expected to be able to prevent the spread of pine wilt disease at low cost.

  • Patent number: 7192775
Abstract: The invention relates to a gDNA and corresponding cDNA sequence comprising pathogenesis related protein-10 (CbPR-10) gene in Capsicum baccatum. The polypeptide encoded by the DNA sequence has ribonuclease activity which makes the enzyme highly effective in inhibiting the growth of fungal pathogen. The use of the DNA sequence disclosed herein contains the gDNA, cDNA, protein and a genetic construct for the production of transgenic plants, especially genetically transformed pepper plants, with an enhanced resistance against fungal pathogens.
