Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards providing dynamic and interactive avatars of social networking members for use in visually displaying interactions and activities within a messaging context. A user interface is provided that enables relationships toy be displayed within a messaging context through automatic and/or dynamic grouping and/or re-arranging of avatars representing the member and a messaging user. Similar to, albeit it different from, an actual social event/party the dynamic displaying of members' avatars reflects how groups of people may interact. Thus, the disclosed embodiments provide a dynamic visual interface illustrating social congregation and interactions between members of a messaging social network.

Abstract: This disclosure describes systems, methods and user interfaces for easily navigating through hierarchically related content, such as web pages in a hierarchical website. For each page of content, a navigation element is provided that displays to the viewer of the page information about one or more pages that are hierarchically below the currently displayed page and information about what page or pages are hierarchically above the currently displayed page. The navigation element includes a top-level tabbed bar that exposes the hierarchical path from the homepage to the displayed page. Furthermore, as the user navigates through the website, the top-level bar forms a “crumb” or path describing the user's location within the hierarchy of web pages.

Abstract: An interface for viewing and/or printing a web page according to user-control of the content is provided. In one example, an interface includes at least one user-selectable option for displaying content from a web page, the web page including at least two content types, and displaying the web page according to at least one user-selectable option. The interface may include a selection interface having the at least one user-selectable option, which may include check boxes or other selectable features such as sliders, radio buttons, or drop-down menus; alternatively, a user-selectable option may be viewable during a hover or roll-over state of displayed content. The content types may include text, images, videos, advertisements, comments, and so on, which may adjust in real-time in response to a change in the user-selectable option. The interface may further include a print button for initiating a function for printing the displayed content according to the user-selected options.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide methods, systems, and machine-readable media for browsing, navigating and searching a context sensitive entertainment-programming guide. According to one embodiment, a method for navigating an entertainment-programming guide can comprise establishing a connection from a client device to a server computer through a public network. A first content array can be received from the server computer over the public network. The first content array can comprise information describing a plurality of entertainment programs. The first content array can be stored on the client device and entertainment-program information can be presented based on the first content array stored on the client device.
