Abstract: Polymer compositions including blends of approximately 90 to approximately 60 percent by weight acrylonitrile butadiene copolymer and approximately 10 to approximately 40 percent by weight polychloroprene copolymer are disclosed. Methods for manufacturing unsupported gloves and for supported gloves including a knitted liner with the polymer compositions, producing gloves having an ANSI abrasion resistance level 4, are also disclosed.

Abstract: Provided among other things is a method of forming a composite glove with a grip texture, comprising: (a) providing a coagulant-coated support layer that is a fabric layer or a polymeric layer; (b) dip applying to the support layer a foamed polymer dispersion comprising about 0.5% to about 2.0% by weight hygroscopic agent; (c) allowing a portion of the applied foamed polymer dispersion to coagulate based the coagulant diffusing from the support layer to form a partially coagulated foam layer; (d) washing the partially coagulated foam layer to remove uncoagulated polymer to form a coagulated foam layer; and (e) vulcanizing the coagulated foam layer to form a vulcanized open foam layer laminated to the support.

Abstract: Provided are leather-free gloves comprising a seamless knitted glove body and a tacky cured elastomeric coating, where the coating comprises a tackifier. Methods of making and using the same are also provided. The glove body can be knit from a stretchable body yarn. Reinforcement sections can also be provided for areas of high stress such as tips and bases of finger and thumb components and the knuckle area. A flat cuff can also be included.
