Abstract: A social contact service system for internet connected digital photos enables internet connected digital photo frames to be a social contact group. Via the social contact service system, any one of grouping internet connected internet connected digital photo frames would upload updated digital information to notify the members of the social contact group, and download another updated digital information from other members of the social contact group. Furthermore, with the desktop utility of a computer, other portal service system and an internet connected digital photo frame with control management, the digital contents in the social contact service system may be integrated and managed.

Abstract: An operation system of an internet connected digital photo frame includes local and remote storage units to store digital images, content settings relevant to homepages and connecting lists of groups, respectively. With control tools, a user may manage and edit the digital images and the customized content settings of homepages. Thus, such an internet connected digital photo frame is used as a social interface among the user and groups on internet.

Abstract: For power saving and display, an internet connected digital photo frame is equipped with a sensor to detect an environment around it and a display to display in accordance with a detected effect. Furthermore, the internet connected digital photo frame displays internet connected digital contents at specific time by setting preset or determined time.

Abstract: In a network device with a display unit, a protruding portion is protruded from a top surface of the main body of the network device, a slanting surface disposed on a side of the protruding portion and proximate to the main body, a display unit installed in the protruding portion, a display screen disposed on a side of the display unit and exposed from the slanting surface, a connecting portion disposed on a side of the main body for exchanging network signals, and a press key portion disposed on the main body and at a position proximate to the display unit. When the network device is turned on, the display screen exposed from the slanting surface of the display unit allows user to learn about the status of the network device and the status of a network connection and set up the network device by operating the press key portion.

Abstract: In a network device with a display module, the display module is installed on a surface of a casing of the network device for displaying the status of the network device and the status of a network connection completely without requiring another external electronic device. Abstract: The present invention is to provide an external box comprising a panel, a housing, a seat, and a body, wherein the panel is secured to a rear of the housing, the seat is secured to a front of the housing, and the body is secured to the seat. The housing contains at least one mass storage device each adapted to connect to a corresponding port mounted on the seat. The body comprises at least one pivotal release mechanism each lined up with the mass storage device. The release mechanism is adapted to pivot to pass a channel of the seat to push the mass storage device in the housing further away from of a rear of the body for detaching the mass storage device from the external box by utilizing the principles of lever. By utilizing this external box, the purpose of quickly easily removing the mass storage device is achieved.

Abstract: Briefly, in accordance with one embodiment of the invention, an antenna may comprise a first radiating element to provide a first axis of polarization, and a second radiating element to provide a second axis of polarization. The first axis of polarization may be orthogonal or orthogonal at least in part, to the second axis of polarization. The first and second axes together may result in an omnidirectional, or at least partially omnidirectional, gain pattern for the antenna. RF signals may be propagated on the first and second axes using the same communication standard on both axes, and/or using a different communication standard on each of the axes. In accordance with one or more embodiments, the first axis of polarization may be utilized for a first MIMO communication channel, and the second axis of polarization may be utilized for a second MIMO communication channel.

The system further incorporates an automatic firmware update service to provide updated firmware updates each time the transcapture module is rebooted. The system also provides an automatic commercial download service to provide module specific bannerization capability, so that each transcapture module can receive directed commercials.
