Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for detecting modified media are disclosed. In one aspect, a method includes the actions of receiving an item of media content. The actions further include providing the item as an input to a model that is configured to determine whether the item likely includes audio of a user's voice that was not spoken by the user or likely includes video of the user that depicts actions of the user that were not performed by the user. The actions further include receiving, from the model, data indicating whether the item likely includes audio of the user's voice that was not spoken by the user or includes video of the user that depicts actions of the user that were not performed by the user. The actions further include determining whether the item likely includes deepfake content.

  • Patent number: 12150086
Abstract: Systems and methods discussed herein are directed to monitoring and/or adjusting levels of ambient radio frequency (RF) signals within a wireless communication network. A geographic region is monitored for ambient radio frequency signal levels. The monitoring may be performed by a device configured for operation in the wireless communication network. For example, one or more of a UE, a base station, an IoT device, etc., may be configured with a sensor for sensing ambient RF signal levels. When it is determined that a measured amount of ambient radio frequency signal level exceeds a predetermined threshold, an operator of the wireless communication network may then provide an alert to at least one user of the wireless communication network.

  • Patent number: 12105833
Abstract: A data broker platform may store one or more data sharing preference settings of a subscriber for the subscriber data of the subscriber in a corresponding subscriber preference record of a subscriber preference blockchain ledger. The platform may further store one more access policy settings with respect to the subscriber data in a corresponding access configuration record of an access configuration blockchain ledger. The platform may receive a data request from a computing device of a third-party entity to access a set of subscriber data of the subscriber. Accordingly, the platform may provide the computing device of the third-party entity with access to the set of subscriber data when the platform determines using records in the subscriber preference blockchain ledger and the access configuration blockchain ledger that the third-party entity is permitted to access the set of subscriber data.

  • Patent number: 12096218
Abstract: A network provider implements network slicing. Each network slice instance is configured to provide a configured set of services that are associated with controlled access to a set of user devices. An access profile for a first user device is identified and analyzed. In response to determining that the access profile matches security capabilities of a configured set of services for one of the instantiated network instances, the first user device is enabled to securely access the matching instantiated network instance.

  • Patent number: 12077061
Abstract: A wireless carrier network is used to access data indicative of geographic locations and charging capabilities of a plurality of devices embedded in a roadway infrastructure configured to inductively charge electrical vehicles while the electrical vehicles are traversing the roadway infrastructure. Location tracking information is determined for an electrical vehicle and a probable travel path of the electrical vehicle on the roadway infrastructure. Charging settings for conditions during which the electrical vehicle should be charged is determined. A charging plan for when and where to charge the electrical vehicles generated based on the charging settings, a charging model, the location tracking information for the electrical vehicle, and the charging capabilities of the plurality of embedded devices.

  • Publication number: 20240264887
Abstract: A network controller authenticates receiver circuitry and transfers an Application Programming Interface (API) to the receiver circuitry. A wireless radio wirelessly detects a network identifier and a product identifier that were wirelessly transmitted by an item at a geographic location. Based on the network identifier, the receiver circuitry selects the API that is associated with a wireless network slice. Based on the selected API, the receiver circuitry generates an API call that indicates the product identifier and the geographic location for the item. The receiver circuitry transfers the API call the wireless network slice. The wireless network slice receives the API call from the receiver circuitry. The wireless network slice selects an application that is associated with the item based on the product identifier. The wireless network slice transfers the product identifier and the geographic location for the item to selected application.

  • Patent number: 12003364
Abstract: An improved core network that includes a network resilience system that can detect network function virtualization (NFV)-implemented nodes that have been compromised and/or that are no longer operational, remove such nodes from the virtual network environment, and restart the removed nodes in a last-known good state is described herein. For example, the network resilience system can use health status messages provided by nodes, intrusion data provided by intrusion detection agents running on nodes, and/or operational data provided by the nodes as applied to machine learning models to identify nodes that may be compromised and/or non-operational. Once identified, the network resilience system can delete these nodes and restart or restore the nodes using the last-known good state.

  • Patent number: 11983582
Abstract: In a wireless communication network, a wireless network controller authenticates a wireless receiver and transfers receiver instructions and Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for wireless network slices to the wireless receiver. An item wirelessly transmits a network identifier (ID) and a product ID. The wireless receiver wirelessly detects the network ID and the product ID from the item at a geographic location. The receiver selects an API for a wireless network slice based on the receiver instructions and the network ID. The receiver transfers an API call to the wireless network slice. The wireless network slice selects a distributed Application (dAPP) based on the network ID, the product ID, and/or the geographic location for the item. The wireless network slice transfers the network ID, the product ID, and the geographic location for the item to selected dAPP.

  • Patent number: 11974357
Abstract: A method for virtual subscriber identity module (SIM) sharing. The method can include a service provider receiving a request including service details from a first UE. The service provider can verify the request and then generate a first SIM over-the-air (OTA) message. The first virtual SIM-OTA message can be sent to the first UE and causes the first UE to dynamically provision a virtual SIM. The service provider can also generate and transmit a first unique identifier to the first UE. The method can further include the service provider receiving a second unique identifier from a second UE. After determining the first unique identifier matches the second unique identifier, the service provider can generate and transmit a second SIM-OTA message to the second UE. The service provider can then provide the service to the first UE and second UE according to the service details.

  • Patent number: 11947701
Abstract: Described herein are techniques for preventing software applications from gaining access to unauthorized biometric data in accordance with user preferences. In some embodiments, a software application requests access to sensor data collected by a sensor installed on a user device via a gateway application installed on the user device. Upon receipt of the request, the gateway application determines what types of biometric data the software application is authorized to obtain within the sensor data. The gateway application then identifies biometric data that is present within the sensor data. The sensor data is then altered such that biometric data that the software application is not authorized to obtain is obfuscated. Once the sensor data has been altered, the software application is provided access to that altered sensor data.
