  • Publication number: 20230036570
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for deceptive infusion and obfuscation of data are disclosed. An apparatus including a communication terminal and a processing circuitry. The communication terminal is configured to transmit information to an artificial intelligence engine. The processing circuitry is configured to decompose raw data into fundamental metadata and inference metadata. The processing circuitry is also configured to generate one or more concealment operators and generate a deception kernel responsive to the inference metadata, the one or more concealment operators, and/or the fundamental metadata. The processing circuitry is configured to obfuscate the fundamental metadata responsive to the one or more concealment operators and the deception kernel, and provide the obfuscated fundamental metadata and the inference metadata to the artificial intelligence engine for processing.

  • Patent number: 11544916
Abstract: Computing devices and methods for reading gauges are disclosed. A gauge reading method includes capturing image data corresponding to a captured image of one or more gauges, detecting one or more gauges in the captured image, cropping a detected gauge in the captured image to provide a use image including the detected gauge, and classifying the detected gauge to correlate the detected gauge with a template image. The gauge reading method also includes attempting to perform feature detection rectification on the use image to produce a rectified image of the detected gauge, performing template matching rectification on the use image to produce the rectified image responsive to a failure to perform the feature detection rectification, and estimating a gauge reading responsive to the rectified image. A computing device may implement at least a portion of a gauge reading method.

  • Publication number: 20220383541
Abstract: Various embodiments relate to unmanned vehicle navigation. A navigation system may include one or more processors configured to communicatively couple with an unmanned vehicle. The one or more processors may be configured to receive an image from the unmanned vehicle and detect a feature within the image. The one or more processors may be further be configured to determine a location of the unmanned vehicle based on the feature and convey one or more commands to the unmanned vehicle based on the location of the unmanned vehicle. Associated methods and computer-readable medium are also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20180075933
Abstract: A method and apparatus for online condition monitoring of a spent nuclear fuel dry cask storage system. The method comprises monitoring physical parameters of air flowing through inlet vents and outlet vents of a system and observing successive measurements of the parameter for deviations from the baseline to determine if the condition of the system has changed. The parameters may include temperature, pressure, density, mass and volumetric flow rate, nuclear radiation, impurities, humidity, salt content, acidity, chemistry, and fission product gases. The information may then be used directly or to develop an accumulation profile. The data may also be used in modeling or other simulations and to establish condition change signatures. The apparatus includes sensors placed over inlet and outlet vents, sensor interfacing hardware connected to the sensors, and a computer connected to the hardware to acquire, display, and analyze the sensor data and to display the status of the system.
