    Abstract: Embodiments of zeolite composite catalysts and methods of producing the zeolite composite catalysts are provided, where the methods comprise dissolving in an alkaline solution a catalyst precursor comprising at least one mesoporous zeolite while heating, stirring, or both to yield a dissolved zeolite solution, where the mesoporous zeolite has a molar ratio of SiO2/Al2O3 of at least 30, where the mesoporous zeolite comprises zeolite beta, adjusting the pH of the dissolved zeolite solution, aging the pH adjusted dissolved zeolite solution to yield solid zeolite composite from the dissolved zeolite solution, and calcining the solid zeolite composite to produce the zeolite composite catalyst, where the zeolite composite catalyst has a mesostructure comprising at least one disordered mesophase and at least one ordered mesophase, and where the zeolite composite catalyst has a surface area defined by the Brunauer—Emmett—Teller (BET) analysis of at least 600 m2/g.

    Abstract: Switching interference is a primary artifact which affects the accuracy of arc detectors. To address switching interference, conventional arc detectors employ computationally intensive techniques which are often designed specifically for a target application. Thus, conventional arc detectors require a significant amount of hardware to accurately detect arc faults, which can increase costs of the power systems and prohibit wide deployment of arc detectors. With improved signal processing, a unique method for arc detection can accurately detect arc faults efficiently while tolerate switching interference from an inverter of the power system. Specifically, the method provides accurate but efficient arc detection by using a small Fast Fourier Transform with coherent sampling that is accomplished with a common clock generator in combination with signal conditioning. The overall system implementing the method is also programmable to suit a variety of target applications.

The gathered user information and transportation vehicle parameters are combined and jointly analyzed and at least one behavior pattern of the transportation vehicle occupant is determined from the jointly analyzed user information and transportation vehicle parameters. The behavior pattern is stored together with the user information. In a subsequent gathering of user information, this user information is compared with the user information behavior pattern previously stored. When there is conformance with the behavior pattern, a transportation vehicle function is automatically carried out.
