    Abstract: A system and method for user selection in distributed multiple-input, multiple-output (MIMO). The system performs a method that includes configuring a first channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) resource set for a serving transmission point (TRP) and a second CSI-RS resource for a concatenated channel, wherein the concatenated channel is between a virtual panel and the apparatus, the virtual panel comprising distributed panels from a serving TRP and a helping TRP. The method also includes computing a metric as a function of one or more quantities included in one or more measurement reports, received from a user equipment (UE), for the concatenated channel and at least one of the serving TRP channel or the helping TRP channel. The method also includes configuring, based on the metric, the UE for one of: a legacy transmission or a distributed MIMO transmission.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods and apparatuses for facilitating restricted target wake time (TWT) operation in a wireless local area network. The apparatuses include a non-access point (AP) multi-link device (MLD) comprising a plurality of stations (STAs) and a processor. Each STA comprises a transceiver configured for broadcast TWT operation on multi-link operation (MLO) links with corresponding APs of an AP MLD. The processor is operably coupled to the transceivers, and configured to negotiate a broadcast TWT schedule over a first link between a first STA and a first AP of the AP MLD, apply the broadcast TWT schedule to the group of links, negotiate a restricted TWT schedule with the AP MLD over at least one link of the group of links, and establish the restricted TWT schedule on one or more links of the at least one link.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system includes a transceiver and a processor. The transceiver receives information about an antenna system of a base station. The information includes a number of collocated antenna groups, and a number of antenna modules for each type of antenna modules in each of the collocated antenna groups. A collocated antenna group has at least two types of antenna modules: a first module with first antenna type and a second module with second antenna type. The transceiver also receives configuration information for a channel state information-reference signal (CSI-RS) resource. The transceiver also receives a CSI-RS based on the configuration information and acquires measurements. The processor determines a subset of antenna modules based on a comparison between the measurements and a criterion. The processor generates CSI for the subset of antenna modules. The transceiver transmits a CSI report comprising the CSI.
