Patent number: 11939736Abstract: A wind turbine foundation comprising a concrete support slab having a horizontal rebar grid therein, a concrete pedestal integral with the support slab and having vertical post tensioning elements therein and a plurality of concrete ribs on top of and integral with the support slab and integral with the pedestal, the ribs having rebar therein and extend outwardly from the pedestal, the pedestal, slab and ribs are connected to each other to form a monolithic foundation. The foundation design reduces the weight and volume of materials used, reduces cost, and improves heat dissipation conditions during construction by having a small ratio of concrete mass to surface area thus eliminating the risk of thermal cracking due to heat of hydration.Type: GrantFiled: June 3, 2021Date of Patent: March 26, 2024Inventor: Ahmed M. Patent number: 6710929Abstract: A cylindrical column of light is formed by the reflection of a laser light plane radially emitted by a main laser light plane source at the inner, mirrored surface of a 45° projector cone. A conical column can be generated and projected by intercepting and reflecting the cylindrical column of light using a diverting cone inside the 45° projector cone. The cylindrical or conical laser light column is set to have the same geometric characteristics of an intended attachment. When the column is properly projected on a surface, it will form an outline representing the desired pattern of intersection of a cylindrical or conical attachment with the surface. The column of light is provided by an illuminator assembly that carries the main laser light plane source, the projector cone, and the diverting cone. The illuminator assembly is carried on a portable support stand.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2002Date of Patent: March 23, 2004Assignee: P&G Development Group, Inc.Inventors: Ahmed M. Phuly, Gary Gitelman

Patent number: 6601312Abstract: The present invention pertains to a method and apparatus for obtaining templates used in pipe end cutting essential in fabricating saddle and mitered pipe connections. The template is made by an array of z-shaped pins arranged radially to form the shape of a stepped cylinder. A flexible adjustable length track on the z shaped pins or on another set of pins forms a track for a roller on a tool to follow. This track replaces metal templates, which have to be specially made for cutting each shape and size pipe for pipe connections to other pipes or to boilers and other devices. The invention provides a large array of templates for one or more sizes of pipe eliminating the need to have a large number of templates for different pipe sizes and shapes. A miter table attachment can be used for off center pipe connection cuts.Type: GrantFiled: February 25, 2002Date of Patent: August 5, 2003Inventor: Ahmed M. Phuly
