  • Patent number: 10518959
Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a filter component is provided. The dispenser comprises a housing (2) defining an exit orifice (5) and a rod (3) at least partially disposed within the housing. The rod has a first end face (301), and the rod is movable between a retracted position in which the first end face of the rod is fully disposed within the housing, and an extended position in which the first end face of the rod is disposed outside the housing. When the rod is moved between the retracted position and the extended position, the first end face (301) of the rod passes through the exit orifice (5).

  • Patent number: 10457461
Abstract: A container includes an inner package (130) disposed within a housing (112). The inner package includes a wrapper having a line of weakness (142) that defines a flap (144) in the wrapper. The flap is attached to an inner surface (122) of a lid of the container such that upon opening the lid the flap is separated from the wrapper along the line of weakness (142) and hinged to the remainder of the wrapper along a flap hinge line to form an access opening (160) through which the consumer goods can be removed.

  • Patent number: 9549572
Abstract: The present invention relates to a smoking article having a movable vapour release portion to allow the vapour release portion to be isolated from, or exposed to, a smoke pathway. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing such smoking articles. In particular, there is provided a smoking article comprising a first segment, a second segment, and an aerosol generating substrate coupled to the first and second segments. At least one of the first and second segments comprises a vapour release portion, whereby the first and second segments are movable relative to each other from a first configuration to a second configuration, whereby in the first configuration the vapour release portion is substantially isolated from an airflow pathway and in the second configuration the vapour release portion is exposed to the airflow pathway.
