    Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives RACH occasion (RO) configurations from a base station. The RO configurations indicate associations between one or more SSBs and ROs. The UE selects one SSB from the one or more SSBs received from the base station. The UE determines a number of multiple PRACH transmissions based on a RSRP measurement of the selected SSB. The UE determines a set of RO groups associated with the selected SSB based on the RO configurations and the determined number of multiple PRACH transmissions. The UE transmits multiple PRACHs on a selected RO group from the determined set of RO groups.

An apparatus implemented in a user equipment (UE) performs a first type of sensing on a sidelink during a first sensing window to select first resources from a first set of candidate resources within a selection window. The apparatus performs a second type of sensing on the sidelink during a second sensing window to select second resources from a second set of candidate resources within the selection window. The apparatus then communicates with another UE on the sidelink using at least the selected second resources from the second set of candidate resources. The first type of sensing and the second type of sensing may be different from each other. The second set may at least partially overlap with the first set.

The apparatus transmits a packet or transport block (TB) to the second UE on the sidelink using the configured first sidelink resource. The apparatus also receives a second signaling from the network node responsive to the second UE failing to decode the packet or TB, with the second signaling dynamically configuring a second sidelink resource for the sidelink. The apparatus then retransmits the packet or TB to the second UE on the sidelink using the dynamically configured second sidelink resource.
