Abstract: A method for archiving and analyzing manufacturing execution data using a server coupled to a database, wherein the data includes database tables, database views, and/or database scripts. The method includes selecting at least one data source having the data stored in a database, extracting at least a selected portion of the data from the data source into the database without further input; automatically formatting the extracted data according to a predefined format; and analyzing the formatted data according to a predefined report structure.

Abstract: A quality management system and computer based process for managing quality are disclosed. The quality management system includes a set of networked operator stations for entering data including critical to quality customer information and information relating to the equipment to be monitored on a quality basis. The system further includes an application server on the network for running the programs of the system such as critical to quality setup, report generation, logging to the database, and maintenance events. A database server is further included on the network for storing the local database. A web server holding a capability warehouse connects to the local database over a web connection.
