  • Publication number: 20240094059
Abstract: A curved prism array applied to an infrared sensor wherein: the infrared sensor comprises at least an infrared sensing element which is used in detecting infrared signals within a solid-angled FOV and installed inside the curved prism array; the curved prism array has an incident focal plane and a plurality of emergent focal planes, both of which are not parallel with each other, such that infrared signals beyond the solid-angled FOV are received by the incident focal plane, refracted through one of the emergent focal planes and guided toward the infrared sensing element for expansion of the solid-angled FOV of the infrared sensing element.

  • Publication number: 20230398462
Abstract: A self-rotating display device (1) includes and outer light transmissive container (2) containing a light transmissive fluid (6) and a body (4) containing an electric motor (14) for rotating the body with respect to the outer container. The body also carries a compass magnet (18) as a source of counter-torque for the motor to operate against. A magnetic positioning structure (20) made of ferromagnetic material secured to the container interacts with the magnetic field of the compass magnet to cause the body to migrate toward a location minimizing the distance between the magnetic positioning structure and compass magnet, so that the body can remain centered within the display while rotating.

  • Patent number: 11126517
Abstract: A system and method for providing system data during a power-on routine of a basic input output system. A controller is powered with an independent power source and accesses the system data. A power-on self-test routine is performed via a basic input output system. The fastest available interface of a plurality of interfaces between the basic input output system and the controller is determined. One of the plurality of interfaces is selected. The system data is sent from the controller to the basic input output system via the selected interface during the power-on self-test routine.

  • Publication number: 20120030550
Abstract: A method for editing multimedia includes the following steps. First, use a client-side device to establish communication with a serve-side device, wherein the client-side device includes a plug-in and shows a user interface with a plurality of layers and a timeline. Next, send a plurality of multimedia files from the client-side device to the serve-side device, wherein the serve-side device includes a database, a media framework, and at least a storefront unit. Next, use the media framework to split the multimedia files respectively into the layers. Next, use the media framework to make the multimedia files synchronized on the timeline to form a digital multimedia creation. Then, save the digital multimedia creation in the database. After saving the digital multimedia creation, use the storefront unit to publish the digital multimedia creation to a consumer-side device.
