Abstract: A display system is constituted of a smartphone and an HMD that are connected to each other. The HMD is mounted on a head of a user, and includes an image display unit configured to display an image, a reception unit configured to receive the image from the smartphone, and a first display controller configured to divide the image at a set division position, generate a plurality of divided images, and cause the image display unit to display each of the divided images. Further, the smartphone includes a transmission unit configured to transmit, to the HMD, image data corresponding to the image, and a second display controller configured to separate a position of an adjustment object away from a position corresponding to the division position in a case where the image includes the adjustment object for adjusting the image.
