    Abstract: This disclosure provides a method for analyzing peripheral blood leukocytes. In some embodiments, method may comprise: (a) labeling peripheral blood leukocytes isolated from a patient that has or is suspected of having inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) with a panel of distinguishably-labeled antibodies and (b) analyzing binding of the antibodies to the peripheral blood leukocytes. Kits for performing the method are also provided. Results from the analysis can be used to make a diagnosis of Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis.
