  • Publication number: 20210393279
Abstract: A clot retrieval device is disclosed to remove clot from a blood vessel. The device can include a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. The device can include an inner expandable body with a framework of struts. The device can include an outer expandable body with a framework of struts that at least partially radially surrounding the inner expandable body. A distal portion of the outer expandable body can extend in the deployed configuration towards the outer expandable body to a greater extent than the inner expandable body, closed cells of the distal portion distally tapering and being smaller than cells proximal thereof in the outer expandable body. The plurality of closed cells of the distal portion can include a pair of axially aligned smaller diamond shaped cells formed by struts of the distal portion and positioned along upper and lower regions of the distal portion.

  • Publication number: 20210393278
Abstract: A clot retrieval device includes an inner expandable member and an outer expandable member, each formed from respective strut frameworks such that the outer expandable member has larger cell openings than the inner expandable member. The outer expandable member can have multiple discontinuous body segments spaced apart in relation to a longitudinal axis of the device. Adjacent discontinuous body segments can be joined by a pair of tapered connecting arms that are able to bend with a small radius of curvature compared to the body segments. Some or all of the body segments can include radiopaque markers positioned to illustrate a circumference of the respective body segment and slightly staggered in relation to a longitudinal axis of the device such that the markers nest when the device is collapsed for delivery.

  • Publication number: 20210283345
Abstract: An aerosol delivery system that includes an aerosol generator that aerosolizes a fluid for delivery to a patient as a patient inhales. The aerosol delivery system includes a pump coupled to the aerosol generator that pumps the fluid to the aerosol generator, and a breath sensor that emits a signal as the patient breathes. A controller couples to the aerosol generator, the pump, and the breath sensor. In operation, the controller receives the signal from the breath sensor, controls a flow of fluid to the aerosol generator in response to the signal, and controls the aerosol generator to start aerosolizing the fluid before the patient inhales.

  • Publication number: 20200368483
Abstract: An aerosolization system includes a respiration system having an inspiratory limb and an expiratory limb. The system includes an aerosol chamber coupled with the inspiratory limb via a fluid channel. The fluid channel is disposed such that the aerosol chamber is isolated from continuous flow passing through the respiratory system. The system includes a patient interface positioned at a first location of the aerosol chamber and an aerosolization device positioned at a second location of the aerosol chamber positioned opposite the first location. The aerosolization device includes a reservoir that receives a volume of liquid medicament for aerosolization by the aerosolization device. The aerosol chamber mixes aerosolized medicament from the aerosolization device with respiratory flow received from the respiration system via the fluid channel.
