The common CORESET for the extended UE type comprises an entirety, a part, or an extension of a common CORESET for the legacy UE type or a separated common CORESET for the extended UE type.

The UE allocates coverage enhancement representations of at least one transport block (TB) into a set of the uplink radio resources for uplink transmission based on the coverage enhancement configuration. The coverage enhancement configuration comprises time domain window configuration, bundling configuration, and/or frequency hopping configuration of the coverage enhancement representations. The coverage enhancement representations may comprise repetitions of a TB, or segments of a TB. Alternatively, the coverage enhancement representations may comprise TBs commonly share a scheduling downlink control information (DCI) message or an uplink grant that schedules the TBs.
