    Abstract: A cleaning oil which is effective in removing dirt and soot from sooty surfaces such as artillery and gun barrels without causing corrosion and toxicity. The oil is produced by frying raw animal bones with used cooking oil until the bones become brown, and the oil becomes thick. The bone is then discarded, and the residual oil filtered and deodorised.
