Abstract: Per(poly)fluorinated polyoxyethylated carbamates of general formula (I) in which R.sub.F represents a perfluorinated group containing between 1 and 18 carbon atoms, W represents an oxo group or nothing, n is an integer from 1 to 10, m is from values 2 to 6, 80 or not defined, R is an alkyl group, R.sub.F W(CH.sub.2).sub.n+1 NHC(O)-- in which R.sub.F and W are as defined above, --(CHCH.sub.3 CH.sub.2 O).sub.30 (CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2).sub.80 C(O)NH(CH.sub.2).sub.n+1 R.sub.F in which R.sub.F is a perfluorinated group containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, R' is a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group containing between 1 and 18 carbon atoms which is optionally substituted, an optionally substituted aryl or aralkyl group, an allyl, methallyl or propargyl group or a perfluorinated chain having between 1 and 18 carbon atoms.

Abstract: These materials having the appearance and the consistency of gels are characterized in that they contain a very high proportion of water, of the order of from 60 to 98% weight, and that their structure is a microcellular compartmentalized structure having a very high density of water droplets enclosed in a fine surfactant membrane and contained in a continuous oil/surfactant phase, this structure being impermeable to water and permeable to hydrophobic compounds soluble in fluorocarbons.Use in the field of optics, fillers, cosmetics, pharmacology, lubricants, textiles, photochemistry and electrodynamics.

Abstract: The invention relates to polyfluoroalkyl nitrogen compounds of general formula:R.sub.F --(CH.sub.2).sub.2 --Xin which X denotes an isothiocynate --N.dbd.C.dbd.S, carbodiimide --N.dbd.C.dbd.N(CH.sub.2).sub.2 --R'.sub.F or thiourea --NH--CS--A group, A denoting an optionally substituted amino group, and each of the symbols R.sub.F and R'.sub.F denotes a perfluoroalkyl radical.These compounds, prepared from the corresponding azides R.sub.F (CH.sub.2).sub.2 N.sub.3 or amines R.sub.F (CH.sub.2).sub.2 NH.sub.2, can be used as surface-active agents or precursors of such agents.

Abstract: The invention relates to compounds of the polyfluoroalkyl acetate, thioacetate or acetamide type, which can be denoted by the general formula: ##STR1## in which Rf denotes a perfluoroalkyl radical, m is an integer ranging from 1 to 4, Q denotes an oxygen or sulphur atom or an NH group, X.sup.- denotes an anion, R.sub.1 denotes an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 denotes the allyl radical or an alkyl radical containing from 1 to 18 carbon atoms, and R.sub.3 denotes an alkyl radical containing from 7 to 18 carbon atoms or one of the following radicals: ##STR2## wherein n is an integer from 2 to 4, R is hydrogen or methyl, and Y denotes C.sub.2 -C.sub.8 alkylene bridge optionally interrupted by an oxygen atom.These compounds can be used as surface-active agents or an monomers for developing artificial vesicles.

Abstract: A polyfluoroalkylthiomethyl compound of the formula:R.sub.f (CH.sub.2).sub.m --S--CH.sub.2 --Ain which R.sub.f is a straight-chain or branched perfluoroalkyl radical containing from 2 to 16 carbon atoms, m is an integer from 1 to 4, and A is a hydroxyl group, a chlorine or bromine atom, an ammonium group derived from a secondary or tertiary amine, a phosphonium group, or an ionic or nonionic group --Q--(CH.sub.2).sub.n --Z, in which Q is an oxygen or sulphur atom, n the number 0, 1 or 2, and Z an unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, aryl or alkylaryl radical. The invention also comprises the method of making such compound and the use thereof as a surface-active agent.

Abstract: The invention relates to non ionic fluorinated compounds having the formula R.sub.F C hd 2H.sub.4 S(R)H, wherein R designates a C.sub.2 H.sub.4 X unit with X=O or S, or a chain exclusively comprising several such units, and two consecutive units can be identical or different, and R.sub.F is a perfluorinated alkyl group exclusive of compounds having the formula:R.sub.F C.sub.2 H.sub.4 SC.sub.2 H.sub.4 OH, R.sub.F C.sub.2 H.sub.4 S(C.sub.2 H.sub.4 O).sub.2 H and R.sub.F (C.sub.2 H.sub.4 S).sub.2 Hand the mixtures of such compounds, in particular, the mixtures of the above defined products differing from one another by the length of their perfluorinated chain, but having the hydrophilic portion of the molecule identical from one product to the other.To obtain them, a compound having the formula R.sub.F C.sub.2 H.sub.

Abstract: Perfluoroalkylated isoxazoles having the formula: ##EQU1## wherein R.sub.F is C.sub.3 - C.sub.15 perfluoroalkyl and R is the same as R.sub.F or a different C.sub.3 - C.sub.15 perfluoroalkyl or C.sub.1 - C.sub.7 alkyl or phenyl or phenyl substituted by C.sub.1 - C.sub.7 alkyl which are prepared by reacting hydroxylamine with a beta-diketone, at least one of whose alkyls is a C.sub.3 - C.sub.15 perfluoroalkyl, and dehydrating the resultant perfluoroalkylated 5-hydroxy-isoxazoline in an autoclave in the presence of polyphosphoric acid. The stable products are useful as heat-exchange media and as surfactants in organic solution.

Abstract: New perfluoroalkyl derivatives of benzodiazepine are prepared by reacting an orthophenylenediamine with a beta-diketone at least one of whose alkyls is a C.sub.1 - C.sub.15 perfluoroalkyl. The stable products are useful as heat-exchange substances and as surfactants in organic solution.
