  • Patent number: 8794555
Abstract: The machine disclosed herein is a vegetable cutting machine. It includes a base that houses a motor which activates the drive shaft of the cutting disks; a cover that closes off the base and that houses a cutting disk; a food feeder part joined to the cover in a way that allows dismounting; a food feeder mouth; and a curvilinear presser with a cylindrical tube projecting therefrom which is housed inside the feeder mouth. The presser is dismountable as a result of removable shaft. The presser has a turning handle at the end opposite the folding end thereof. The machine also includes a blocking device between the food feeder and the cover. The machine further incorporates a single support for the motor and all of the driving and motion transmission components. Lastly, the presser incorporates a safety lever which activates the power supply switch of the motor.

  • Patent number: 7461967
Abstract: The invention discloses a fast and reliable coupling device between a tool shank and a motor assembly of a hand-held blender, which can be released by the user. The motor assembly is of the type that has a cylindrical nozzle centrally positioned on the base by which it couples to the tool shank, the outer side of which has a threaded portion, whilst the tool shank has an internally threaded nut that is complementary to the nozzle, the base of the motor assembly also including a formation that projects outwards, with a hole through which a retaining ball projects, pushed by a spring, whilst radial partitions project from the outer wall of the coupling nut of the tool shank towards the inner face of the coupling bell, one of these partitions having on its upper edge a cup-shaped formation that is of suitable dimensions to admit and house said ball when aligned with it during the coupling operation between said tool shank and motor assembly.

  • Patent number: 7458715
Abstract: The invention discloses an arrangement specially designed for the releasable coupling of a tool shank and a motor assembly of the type used in hand-held blenders. The motor assembly has a cylindrical nozzle that projects from the distal base thereof, inside which the output shaft of the motor is housed, on the outer side of which it has a threaded formation to quickly screw it onto the tool shank. The coupling arrangement has a secure means of retention of the tool shank in the position in which it is coupled to the motor assembly, this means consisting of a click-in piece that secures the distal base of the motor assembly and substantially projects from the plane of said base, together with the formation of multiple partitions formed inside the bell on the coupling end of the tool shank, these partitions extending radially and angularly equally-spaced to define cavities designed to receive and retain the click-in piece during the coupling operation of the tool shank and the motor assembly.
