The system allows a mobile terminal in a silent/meeting mode to go into a vibrate and/or ring mode when a calling party enters a special alerting code.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method are provided for receiving a message that a mobile communications device has experienced a dropped call, and updating an account of a user of the mobile communications device to provide a credit for the dropped call upon receipt of the message. The message is received without involvement from the user of the mobile communications device. Optionally, the mobile communications device may be reconnected to a last call number when a signal becomes available.
