  • Patent number: 11019603
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for communicating channel selection constraints in a network having multiple access points (APs). In one aspect, a root AP may assist with channel selection (assignment) for the multiple APs. A first AP can provide channel operating constraints to the root AP to indicate one or more operating constraints for a particular channel that may be used by the first AP. The operating constraints may be based, at least in part, on a hardware characteristic of the first AP. For example, an operating constraint may indicate a minimum channel separation or a maximum transmit power to consider when the particular channel is used concurrently with another channel. In another aspect, the first AP can communicate a channel selection error and error code when a particular channel cannot be used due to an operating constraint.

  • Publication number: 20190281608
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for channel selection and channel selection planning in a network including a root AP (RAP) and a number of satellite APs (SAPs). The root AP may assign operating channels for one or more of the satellite APs in a manner that optimizes network performance by considering the impact that each of the satellite APs (as well as their respective client devices) may have on the network. In some implementations, the root AP may provide centralized channel selection planning for the network based a number of network parameters observed by one or more of the satellite APs. The network parameters may include, for example, channel conditions, traffic loads, traffic patterns, service needs of client devices, available channels, and other network utilization information observed by one or more of the satellite APs.

  • Publication number: 20180302832
Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-readable media, for serving AP selection in a network having multiple access points (APs). In one aspect, a serving AP selection unit can steer a device (such as a client station, STA, or a child AP) based on a quality of service profile (such as a capacity requirement or a delay requirement) of the device. The device may be initially associated with a first AP (as the current serving AP) in the network. The serving AP selection unit may select a second AP as a new serving AP for the device, and cause the device to associate with the second AP rather than the first AP. The selection of a serving AP may take into account delay or hop count in addition to path capacities for various paths in the network.

  • Publication number: 20100322823
Abstract: The present inventions are directed to apparatuses for rapidly measuring post-vaccination immune status. In one version, the apparatus has a support platform, with a top side, a bottom side, a first portion, and a second portion. A first void is integrally formed in the first portion. A container is configured to be removably affixed to the top side of the support platform. The container has a housing, a base, and at least one reactant. The container base can be viewed through the first void when the container is removably affixed to the first portion of the top side. An absorbent material is affixed to the second portion, where the base of the container comes into contact with the absorbent material when the container is removably affixed to the second portion of the top side.
