  • Publication number: 20230328324
Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for providing streamlined access to media assets of interest to a user. The method includes determining that a supplemental viewing device, through which a user views a field of view, is directed at a first field of view. The method further involves detecting that the supplemental viewing device is now directed at a second field of view, and determining that a media consumption device is within the second field of view. A first media asset of interest to the user that is available for consumption via the media consumption device is identified, and the supplemental viewing device generates a visual indication in the second field of view. The visual indication indicates that the first media asset is available for consumption via the media consumption device, and the visual indication tracks a location of the media consumption device in the second field of view.

  • Publication number: 20230313990
Abstract: Systems and methods for a gas train assembly for an automated cooking system are provided. In one embodiment, the gas train assembly includes an electronic controller, a booster, a first burner assembly, and a first mass flow controller. The electronic controller is configured to identify a recipe associated with an order for a food item. The booster is configured to increase the pressure of the gas to a high-pressure value. The first burner assembly is downstream from the booster. The first mass flow controller is interposed between the booster and the first burner assembly. The first mass flow controller receives a first burner setting from the electronic controller. The first burner setting is based on the recipe. The first mass flow controller allows gas to flow through the first mass flow controller and toward the first burner assembly at a first pressure value corresponding to the first burner setting.

  • Patent number: 11764985
Abstract: In an approach for improving the virtual meeting user experience, a processor detects a user disengaging from a virtual meeting having at least two participants for a pre-set period of time or for a pre-set percentage of a total allotted time of a pre-scheduled virtual meeting. A processor retrieves data from a database. A processor prepares a summary that is tailored to a profile of the user and that covers a portion of the virtual meeting during which the user was disengaged. A processor detects the user reconnecting to the virtual meeting. A processor determines whether the user will review the summary before rejoining the virtual meeting. Responsive to determining the user will review the summary before rejoining the virtual meeting, a processor prompts the user with a set of default user preferences to review the summary. A processor outputs the summary to the user.

  • Publication number: 20230291975
Abstract: Systems and methods for presenting custom navigation options are described herein. In some embodiments, the media guidance application displays a first portion of a media asset, and receives a user selection of an entity depicted within the portion. The media guidance application identifies a playlist of media asset portions associated with the entity, and generates for display a transport bar associated with the entity comprising an indicator identifying the entity and only one or more regions associated with the playlist of media asset portions. The media guidance application then receives a second user selection, and generates for display a second portion of the media asset associated with the entity in response. In some embodiments, the media guidance application identifies the playlist by searching a custom presentation database for entries associated with the entity, and retrieves the playlist from the identified entry.

  • Publication number: 20230283744
Abstract: In some aspects, control circuitry receives and stores a user-specified time duration to associate with a skip-forward command. When the user later issues a skip-forward command to advance playback of a media asset to a desired location, the control circuitry retrieves the stored time duration, and determines an expected overshoot value associated with the skip-forward command. The control circuitry then compensates for the expected overshoot by calculating a new location in the media asset based on both the retrieved time duration and expected overshoot value. Upon advancing to the new location, the media asset is played back in a fast-forward mode, e.g., at a speed higher than normal speed.

  • Publication number: 20230283845
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided herein for recommending a media asset based on a geographic location at which that media asset was frequently consumed. For example, the system may monitor a location, such as New York City or Times Square, to determine popular media assets watched there, such as “The Avengers,” and when another user visits New York City, the system may then notify the user that the movie, such as “The Avengers,” is associated with New York City. The system stores the geographic locations associated with the media asset in the database based on the consumption of the media asset so that other users may be notified which media assets are associated with each geographic location.

  • Patent number: 11748487
Abstract: Embodiments described herein are generally directed to testing a microservice to determine whether the microservice leaks sensitive information. According to an example, prior to deployment of a microservice within a production environment, a test suite for the microservice is generated based at least in part on a specification of an application programming interface (API) of the microservice defining operations supported by the API and information regarding parameters of each of the operations. The microservice is subjected to the test suite. A potential security leak by the microservice is then detected by analyzing a dataset to which the microservice outputs information, including applying security rules to the dataset.

  • Publication number: 20230248742
Abstract: Stable pharmaceutical compositions are provided, comprising a pharmaceutically effective amount of testosterone or a pharmaceutically acceptable ester thereof, a pharmaceutically acceptable oil vehicle, and a stabilizing amount of benzyl alcohol, for example, about 1% to 3% weight/volume of benzyl alcohol. The present invention also provides a process for stabilizing testosterone-containing pharmaceutical compositions by ageing them at a temperature of about 20° C. to about 60° C. for at least 48 hours, e.g., prior to secondary packing and labeling. These compositions were stable over the shelf life of the product, without exhibiting crystal formation, even upon storing at temperatures of about 2° C. to about 8° C. Other aspects of the invention relate to methods for making such pharmaceutical compositions and methods of using such pharmaceutical compositions for hormone replacement therapy, e.g.

  • Publication number: 20230234918
Abstract: A process for producing diazomethane of Formula 1 (CH2N2), with an automated apparatus is described. A stock solution of N-methyl-N-nitroso amine in an organic solvent is continuously flown and mixed with an aqueous inorganic base at a T-mixer to form a mixture. Then it is passed through a capillary micro reactor at a temperature in a range of 20 to 30° C. to form diazomethane. The mixture is separated into an aqueous layer and an organic layer using a continuous flow micro-separator. The organic layer has 0.1-0.4 M diazomethane. The organic layer is reacted with a carboxylic acid, phenol, an alkyne, an anhydride, a carboxyl metal organic framework (MOF), or MOF coated cotton to form a corresponding ester, a pyrazole, an ether, a diazo ketone, a stable carboxyl MOF or a stable MOF coated cotton fiber.

  • Publication number: 20230218391
Abstract: A prosthetic heart valve for deployment in a native heart valve. The prosthetic heart valve includes an inner frame and a plurality of anchors extending from a distal portion of the inner frame. An outer sealing frame is positioned radially outward of the inner frame. The distal end portion of the outer frame is attached to a distal portion of the inner frame by a flexible cloth material such that the outer frame can move axially or tilt with respect to the inner frame. The anchors are shaped to capture native leaflets between the anchors and the outer frame to secure the prosthetic valve in the native heart valve. Prosthetic valve leaflets are provided in a lumen of the inner frame for allowing one way flow through the prosthetic valve, thereby replacing the function of the native heart valve.
