  • Publication number: 20230294848
Abstract: Provided herein are various enhancements for unmanned aerial vehicles and operations. An unmanned aerial vehicle includes a wireless communication system configured to establish a wireless link for at least flight control information for the unmanned aerial vehicle. The wireless communication system is configured to monitor the flight control information using a first wireless channel having a first bandwidth and periodically tune away to a second wireless channel having a second bandwidth wider than the first bandwidth for transmission of a beacon frame that includes remote identification information corresponding to the unmanned aerial vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20180241450
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure implement techniques that allow the serving AP to obtain signal quality information over backhaul link from one or more target APs as it relates to one or more STAs that are currently being served by the serving AP. The target APs may measure signal quality between the target AP and the STA by observing uplink communication between the STA and the serving AP that may be broadcasted over the network. Based on the signal quality information received by the serving AP from one or more target APs, the serving AP may determine whether the signal quality for the STA would improve if the STA shifts from the serving AP to the target AP.

  • Publication number: 20180054761
Abstract: Methods, apparatus, and systems disclosed provide for conditional quality of service classification. For example, in some aspects, messages received over a first network interface may be analyzed to reclassify the appropriate quality of service for the messages. Messages received over a second network interface may rely on quality of service information included in the messages themselves, such as quality service information stored in a QOS control field of a media access control header. The quality of service information may also be propagated through one or more protocol layers by including the quality of service information in a memory structured shared, in some aspects, between kernel mode drivers, and user mode network applications. This may provide for the quality of service information to be propagated across multiple nodes in a multi-hop communication path, without experiencing computational overhead associated with multiple reclassifications.
