  • Patent number: 12184751
Abstract: A quadrature clock generator that takes advantage of the inherently low delay of a shunt-series inductively peaked clock buffer to generate quadrature clocks with the high jitter performance using just one additional stage in Q path compared to I path. The generator includes a delay cell that uses shunt-series peaking and uses a resistive DAC in series with the shunt inductor to provide a large delay range with good jitter characteristics. The resistive DAC can be placed near a real or a virtual ground to minimize capacitive loading on the signal path. This delay cell can provide greater than 2× delay tuning range and is suitable for clocks at high frequencies. This delay cell can also be used as a ring oscillator with large frequency tuning range. A low voltage differential signaling termination switch control that uses feed forward mechanism to control termination impedance of device in a receiver.

  • Publication number: 20240421941
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments relate to a system/process which can be used to provide redundancy and error/failure recovery to a System of Record (SOR), such as an electronic financial transaction processing system or sub-system thereof, which processes transactions received from one or more sources and generates results/outputs based thereon for communication to one or more recipients/destinations/consumers. The disclosed embodiments minimize, if not eliminate, both the amount of data, i.e., the number of transactions, which can be lost during a failure and the performance impact on the SOR. Generally, the disclosed embodiments are implemented so as to receive/intercept each incoming transaction communicated to the primary instance prior to receipt thereby and intercept or otherwise regulate the communication of the outputs of the primary instance, generated based on the primary instance's processing of the incoming transactions, to the destinations/recipients/consumers thereof.

  • Patent number: 12169727
Abstract: Described embodiments provide systems and method for determining action insights to address, correct or fix application failures. A device can identify an assignment of a user to a virtual machine and the assignment can enable launch of an application with use of the same virtual machine on behalf of the user. The virtual machine can be one of a delivery group of virtual machines. A threshold can be determined for the virtual machine that indicates a likely failure of the virtual machine to launch the application based data about performance of the delivery group. The device can modify the assignment of a user from the virtual machine to another virtual machine of the delivery group based on a comparison of a load on the virtual machine and the determined threshold, so as to avoid failure of the application to launch.

Abstract: Embodiments relate to reading signals from a stimulus file produced by an emulator into a data store. A method includes executing, by a set of one or more worker processes, reading tasks. Each reading task is executable independent of other reading tasks. Each reading task includes reading a time slice of a signal from a stimulus file produced by a hardware emulator, and pushing a partial waveform corresponding to the time slice to a data store. The partial waveform includes a head and a tail that each has a smaller data size than an entirety of the partial waveform. The method further includes executing stitching tasks. The stitching tasks include pulling the heads and tails of the partial waveform from the data store, modifying the heads and tails to indicate a temporal order of the partial waveforms, and pushing the modified heads and tails back to the data store.

  • Publication number: 20240311177
Abstract: A system and methods for enhancing content collaboration by conflict detection and resolution. A hybrid cloud cache receives a request from a client to upload an object to the cloud. The hybrid cloud cache may perform an internal lookup to find the latest version of the object known to it. This lookup may return a local identifier or a cloud identifier. The cache may compare a client-provided identifier to the local identifier or to the cloud identifier that is mapped to the local identifier to determine if the client-provided identifier refers to the latest uploaded version of the object. The system may determine that a conflict exists if the client-provided identifier does not match either identifier. The system may generate an alternate name for the object and upload the renamed object to the cloud from the hybrid cloud cache.

  • Publication number: 20240306176
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to managing access to 5G cellular baseband resources for 5G-capable wireless devices. A wireless device can monitor application workloads by analyzing communication network performance requirements for a given application in-use or launching for future use along with system-level indications of overall device usage, battery level, and mobility status to determine whether access to 5G cellular baseband resources is recommended for an application. A 5G cellular baseband resource recommendation is provided for an application indicating a level of bandwidth in current use or expected for future use as well as a confidence metric in the bandwidth level indication. The 5G cellular baseband resource recommendation is used with additional device criteria to determine whether access to one or more 5G radio frequency bands is allowed.

  • Publication number: 20240298264
Abstract: A user equipment device may include a radio that conveys wireless data with one or more base stations using a set of component carriers (CCs) that are concurrently-active under a carrier aggregation scheme or a dual connectivity scheme. When in a thermally-constrained state, a resource manager on the radio may intelligently select a CC to drop from use in conveying the wireless data. The resource manager may select the CC to drop based on the bandwidths, data rates, error rates, and/or activation/deactivation rates of the set of CCs, a power budget assigned to the radio, and/or information about the demodulation and decoding clusters in a modem of the radio. Selecting the CC to drop in this way may provide greater power and temperature reduction at the radio and/or less wireless performance reduction than blindly dropping the most recently added CC from use in conveying the wireless data.
