  • Publication number: 20250142607
Abstract: Embodiments described herein relate to managing access to 5G cellular baseband resources for 5G-capable wireless devices. A wireless device can monitor application workloads by analyzing communication network performance requirements for a given application in-use or launching for future use along with system-level indications of overall device usage, battery level, and mobility status to determine whether access to 5G cellular baseband resources is recommended for an application. A 5G cellular baseband resource recommendation is provided for an application indicating a level of bandwidth in current use or expected for future use as well as a confidence metric in the bandwidth level indication. The 5G cellular baseband resource recommendation is used with additional device criteria to determine whether access to one or more 5G radio frequency bands is allowed.

  • Publication number: 20250086735
Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, devices, and computer program products are described. A system may support a machine learning model for legal clause extraction. The machine learning model may receive, as an input, at least a portion of a document and may output an indication of one or more legal clauses included in the document. To train the model, the system may receive a document and an indication of ground truths (e.g., legal clauses) for the document. The system may determine one-to-one mappings between the legal clauses indicated by the ground truths and the legal clauses indicated by the output of the machine learning model. The system may perform a longest common substring analysis on the one-to-one mappings to determine an accuracy of the machine learning model and may iteratively update the model based on the analysis.

  • Publication number: 20250048077
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing non-active subscriber identity module (SIM) services leveraging multiple SIMs configured at multiple UEs are disclosed herein. A primary user equipment (UE), activating a first SIM of a dual SIM dual standby (DSDS) configuration used by the primary UE to perform active-mode network communications on the first SIM and sends, to a secondary UE, an indication to activate a second SIM of the DSDS configuration in response to the activating the first SIM of the DSDS configuration used by the primary UE. The secondary UE receives the indication to activate the second SIM of the first DSDS configuration used by the primary UE and activates the second SIM for use by the secondary UE in response to receiving the indication. Accordingly, the secondary UE may handle any network communications on the second SIM during the network communications on the first SIM at the primary UE.

  • Publication number: 20250039796
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) having enhanced configured grant transmission is provided. The UE operates by determining whether a wake-up signal (WUS) indicator is received. The UE also determines whether a wake-up trigger condition is met, and based on a determination that the trigger condition is met, it determines whether the UE is configured with a power-save wake up (ps-WakeUp) parameter. Based on a determination that the UE is configured with the ps-WakeUp parameter, the UE determines whether the ps-WakeUp parameter is set to false. Further, based on a determination that the ps-WakeUp parameter is set to false, and based on a determination that the WUS indicator is not received, the UE transitions from a sleep state to an active state during a next discontinuous reception (DRX) on-duration period.

  • Patent number: 12106157
Abstract: Embodiments relate to reading signals from a stimulus file produced by an emulator into a data store. A method includes executing, by a set of one or more worker processes, reading tasks. Each reading task is executable independent of other reading tasks. Each reading task includes reading a time slice of a signal from a stimulus file produced by a hardware emulator, and pushing a partial waveform corresponding to the time slice to a data store. The partial waveform includes a head and a tail that each has a smaller data size than an entirety of the partial waveform. The method further includes executing stitching tasks. The stitching tasks include pulling the heads and tails of the partial waveform from the data store, modifying the heads and tails to indicate a temporal order of the partial waveforms, and pushing the modified heads and tails back to the data store.

  • Publication number: 20240298264
Abstract: A user equipment device may include a radio that conveys wireless data with one or more base stations using a set of component carriers (CCs) that are concurrently-active under a carrier aggregation scheme or a dual connectivity scheme. When in a thermally-constrained state, a resource manager on the radio may intelligently select a CC to drop from use in conveying the wireless data. The resource manager may select the CC to drop based on the bandwidths, data rates, error rates, and/or activation/deactivation rates of the set of CCs, a power budget assigned to the radio, and/or information about the demodulation and decoding clusters in a modem of the radio. Selecting the CC to drop in this way may provide greater power and temperature reduction at the radio and/or less wireless performance reduction than blindly dropping the most recently added CC from use in conveying the wireless data.

Abstract: A method of processing an animal manure that includes biosolids to provide an output animal manure digestate and an output biogas. The method includes heating the animal manure to a predetermined hydrolysis temperature for a preselected hydrolysis time period. In addition, a pH of the animal manure is caused to be a target hydrolysis pH. The biosolids are subjected to shearing, to produce a hydrolyzed animal manure digestate. After the hydrolysis time period, the hydrolyzed animal manure digestate is subjected to anaerobic digestion at a predetermined anaerobic digestion temperature for a preselected anaerobic digestion time period, to produce the output animal manure digestate and the output biogas.

  • Publication number: 20240290107
Abstract: A vehicle and method for facilitating detecting an object fallen from the vehicle. The vehicle includes: a camera to obtain an image of an object for storing prior information when the object is loaded into the vehicle, and an image of vehicle front surroundings and an image of vehicle rear surroundings when the vehicle is moving; and a control unit to detect an object from the front surroundings image and an object from the rear surroundings image using the prior information, and to compare the detected object from the front surroundings image with the detected object from the rear surroundings image. I If the object is not detected from the front surroundings image but detected from the rear surroundings image, the control unit determines that the object has fallen from the vehicle, and controls an output unit to output a signal.
