  • Patent number: 10594983
Abstract: A surveillance system is provided including an Internet-enabled (IP) camera and nodes that determine the location of a plurality of sensors, which are wirelessly connected to the IP camera. The nodes determine the position of the plurality of sensors and the IP camera through the use of position determining techniques including multilateration, trilateration, and triangulation. Additionally, line of sight positioning methods and global positioning system devices may be used in setting up a positional awareness system, which enables the IP camera to control systems based on condition information and positional awareness.

    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH
Inventors: Benjamin Robert Dannan, Ajit Belsarkar, Bogdan Viorel Iepure, Theodore Leroy Jones, Philip Hennessy
  • Patent number: 9706264
Abstract: Methods and systems for providing a single stream including multiple FoVs. One system includes an image sensor configured to receive a selection of a plurality of field-of-views from a user, capture an image associated with each of the plurality of field-of-views, stitch the image associated with each of the plurality of field-of-views into a single stream, and transmit the single stream to at least one computing device.
    Type: Grant

Date of Patent: July 11, 2017
    Assignee: Robert Bosch GmbH
    Inventor: Ajit Belsarkar
  • Patent number: 9595124
Abstract: Methods and systems for adding a mark-up to a video stream. One method includes receiving, with a computing device, a video stream from an image sensor and metadata associated with at least one mark-up. The method also includes processing, with the computing device, the metadata to generate the at least one mark-up for the video stream and displaying the at least one mark-up overlaid on the video stream.

  • Patent number: 8754940
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems for monitoring using a movable video device. The video device is movable to a plurality of positions definable by three dimensions. In an example method, the video device is moved to one of the plurality of positions. Within the video device, video data is acquired at the one of the plurality of positions. Further, within the video device, the acquired video data is processed using a processing algorithm that is configured according to a predetermined profile associated with the one of the plurality of positions. The result of the processing is sent to an external receiving device.

  • Publication number: 20130021433
Abstract: A method of operating a surveillance camera arrangement includes panning a PTZ camera about a pan axis. First images are captured with the camera throughout the panning. A composite panoramic or circular second image is created by stitching together the first images captured during the panning. The user is enabled to select and modify presets, recordings, and/or video analytics profiles within the composite panoramic or circular second image.
