The arrangement comprises at least one insulation plate disposed proximal to a transformer core and coil assembly of the encapsulated transformer such that the insulating element is in surface contact with a potting compound of the encapsulated transformer and adapted to substantially contain the heat emanating from the transformer core and coil assembly, thereby maintaining desired temperature conditions on and within the transformer housing.
