  • Patent number: 7654827
Abstract: In an electrical connector for connecting connection objects to each other in a connecting direction, a holding member has an accommodating portion between a first and a second surface to which the connection objects are opposed, respectively, when connected to said electrical connector. A connecting member has elasticity and is placed in the accommodating portion. The holding member includes a first and a second wall which define the accommodating portion therebetween. At least one of the first and the second walls includes a restraining portion defining a space which allows a portion of the connecting member to elastically move in a predetermined direction crossing the connecting direction.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: August 28, 2007
Date of Patent: February 2, 2010
Assignee: Japan Aviation Electronics Industry, Limited
Inventors: Katsumi Arai, Seiya Matsuo, Akane Yoneta
  • Patent number: 7435101
Abstract: An electrical connection member includes a base sheet, an insulating first elastic body arranged on one surface of the base sheet, and an insulating film having a first part 31a arranged on the first elastic body. The first part 31a has a first contact point for contact with a first object to be connected. The first elastic body has a plurality of first protrusions protruding toward the first contact point.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 8, 2007
Date of Patent: October 14, 2008
Assignee: Japan Aviation Electronics Industry, Limited
Inventors: Akane Yoneta, Hiroshi Akimoto, Takeshi Takahashi
  • Patent number: 7351069
Abstract: In a connector including a frame having an engaged portion and a connection member adapted to be inserted into the frame either in a first direction or in a second direction reverse to the first direction, the connection member includes an elastic member coupled to the frame. A conductor is coupled to the elastic member and protrudes from the frame in the first and the second directions to be electrically connected to the connection objects. First and second engaging portions protrude from the elastic member in a third direction perpendicular to the first direction to be engaged with the engaged portion in the first abs the second directions, respectively. Each of the first and the second engaging portions has a slant surface formed on a side opposite to the engaged portion.
