  • Publication number: 20240012574
Abstract: A method comprises receiving an input specifying one or more rules in connection with archiving one or more of a plurality of files from a source storage location to a target storage location. The one or more rules specify one or more constraints for retention of the one or more of the plurality of the files. In the method, the one or more of the plurality of files are retrieved from the source storage location for migration to the target storage location. A request is sent to the target storage location that the target storage location invoke the one or more rules to retain the one or more of the plurality of files in the target storage location. The target storage location comprises a cloud storage platform.

  • Publication number: 20230419954
Abstract: Computer technology that receives a query and a desired level of precision and/or accuracy (herein, a “p/a value”) associated with the received query, determines whether the p/a value exceeds a predetermined threshold, if the p/a value exceeds the predetermined threshold, then the virtual assistant system applies digital twin simulation to a digital twin data set in determining the query response to improve precision and/or accuracy of the query response, and outputs the query response to the querying party (for example, output as sound data in a voice assistant system). If the p/a value is below the threshold value, then the digital twin simulation is not performed, which makes the response quicker and puts less computational power demands on the virtual assistant system. In some embodiments, the virtual assistant system calculates the p/a value based on context.

  • Publication number: 20230418992
Abstract: In an approach for building a subset of a digital twin model, a processor monitors a digital twin model of a machine for one or more changes to the machine. Responsive to detecting a change to the machine, a processor analyzes one or more aspects of the machine, wherein the one or more aspects of the machine include a contextual situation of the machine and one or more activities performed by the machine. Responsive to determining the contextual situation of the machine has changed, a processor analyzes one or more sensors and a first set of data generated by the one or more sensors. A processor determines the one or more sensors are generating a required type of data and a required amount of data to create a subset of the digital twin model. A processor creates the subset of the digital twin model incorporating the change detected.

  • Publication number: 20230420351
Abstract: In order to relieve the stress on the substrates in a 3D stacked electronic assembly, a substrate frame may be divided into a plurality of frame sections that are separated by spaces between the frame sections. These separations allow the substrates to expand/contract in response to temperature variations and other environmental conditions, and generally allow the substrates to move in one or more axial directions. The separations between the substrate portions may be design-specific for each substrate design. The placement of IC packages on either side of the substrate may be analyzed to identify areas of maximal warpage through physical measurements, physical model simulations, or using a trained neural network. The spaces in the substrate frame may then be placed next to or aligned with the areas of maximal warpage to reduce the stress on the substrate.

  • Patent number: 11852740
Abstract: In a wireless network in which beams are transmitted by base stations, a beam relation database may be produced by crowdsourcing known positions of UEs and associated information related to beams received by the UEs at these positions. The beam information, for example, may include a beam identifier and cell identifier, and may further include measured signal parameters, such as Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) or Reference Signal Received Quality (RSRQ). The beam relation database may be used by a network or the UE to determine a position of a UE based on beams that are detected by the UE. The position fix may be an initial position fix that may be used to generate assistance data for the UE. Additionally, the beam relation database may be used to identify relevant measurement objects in the assistance data based on beams that are detected by the UE.
