  • Publication number: 20070181458
Abstract: A package is proposed, comprising a sleeve (2) of essentially parallelepipedal shape, and an insert ((3) which can be inserted into and withdrawn from the sleeve (2) in a sliding direction (S) through an opening (4) in the sleeve (2), the sleeve (2) comprising four longitudinal walls (2a, 2c) which are essentially parallel to the sliding direction (S). The package is characterized in that the sleeve is provided with a first stop tab (7) which extends from a first (2c) to a second (2a) of the longitudinal walls, the tab being at least partly separated from the first longitudinal wall (2c) and the second longitudinal wall (2a) in that the insert has a first locking edge (9a), the insert being prevented, upon contact of the first locking edge with the first stop tab (7a), from moving out of the sleeve, and in that the first locking edge (9a) can, by elastic deformation of a part of the insert (3) by means of manoeuvring by a user, be moved so that its movement past the first stop tab (7a) is made possible.

  • Patent number: 7090079
Abstract: A package made of cardboard, includes a sleeve and an insert, the sleeve being provided with at least one catch tab located on the inside of the sleeve and provided with at least one projection, so that the catch tab forms an angle with the upper wall of the sleeve. At least one locking tab is provided on the insert, which is arranged so as to be at least in part inserted between the catch tab and the upper wall. At least one operating tab is provided, in addition to which the sleeve is provided with at least one cutout next to the operating tab, the operating tab being arranged so as to be pressed by a user against the locking tab, movement of the insert in the sliding direction (S) towards the opening being made possible.

  • Publication number: 20040099565
Abstract: The invention relates to a child resistant carton package for a pharmaceutical or like dangerous product. The package comprises an outer sleeve (2), an insert (3) that can be slidingly drawn out of the sleeve, the insert carrying the packaged product, and a locking mechanism (7, 9) between the sleeve and the insert. According to the invention at least the outer sleeve (2) is made of board reinforced with polymer to increase its resistance to tearing. The board may have a reinforcing layer of a tough polymer such as polyester, preferably on both sides of the board. There may also be a coextruded outer heat seal layer of polyolefine. The cutting edges may be protected with a polymer shield against delamination of the board. The same extrusion coated board can be used also for the inner sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20040050748
Abstract: The invention relates to a package (1) made of cardboard, comprising a sleeve (2) and an insert (3), the sleeve (2) being provided with at least one catch tab (10) located on the inside of the sleeve and provided with at least one projection (10b), so that the catch tab (10) forms an angle with the upper wall (2a) of the sleeve (2). At least one locking tab (11) is provided on the insert (3), which is arranged so as to be at least in part inserted between the catch tab (10) and the upper wall (2a). At least one operating tab (6) is provided, in addition to which the sleeve (2) is provided with at least one cutout (7) next to the operating tab (6), the operating tab (6) being arranged so as to be pressed by a user against the locking tab (11), movement of the insert (3) in the sliding direction (S) towards the opening (4) being made possible.

  • Patent number: 4650217
Abstract: A continuous strip of mutually adjacent information-bearing panels are joined together by hinge means, each of which comprises a series of hinge openings and hinge sections. The relative positions of the hinge sections and openings of one hinge means are so positioned in relation to the hinge sections and openings of a further hinge means as to enable the strip to be folded in a bundle or part bundle form, so that a selected panel can be brought to the top of the bundle or part bundle, with the hinge sections of a respective hinge means lying within the confines of the openings of the remaining hinge means.

  • Patent number: 4121004
Abstract: A strip roll for use in an assembly for dispensing tickets is described which assembly has a tear-off device from which the end of the strip protrudes and wherein the roll comprises a strip of flexible material having a series of penetrated lines spaced longitudinally along the strip with each line shaped and adapted to form an individual tongue shaped flap defined by a line starting from one point adjacent to but spaced inwardly from one marginal edge of the strip, extending forwards in the feeding direction of the strip and towards the centerline thereof and on the other side of the centerline of the strip extending back to another point adjacent to but spaced inwardly from the other marginal edge of the strip. The flap which is dimensioned to be gripped for pulling the strip is connected to the strip along a straight line drawn between the two points, which straight line is perpendicular to the feeding direction of the strip.
