  • Publication number: 20040238548
Abstract: A container, comprising a hollow body (2) extended along a longitudinal axis (5), a sealing means (4) and an opening means (3). The hollow body (2) defines, together with the sealing means (4), a compartment (11) which can be made to communicate with the surroundings by opening of said opening means (3). The container is characterised in that the hollow body (2) is essentially cylindrical or in the form of a truncated cone and has a closed first end (6) and an opposite open second end (7). The opening means (3) is arranged in or in connection with the first end (6) of the hollow body (2), and the sealing means (4) covers the second end (7) of the hollow body (2) and thus forms a bottom (12) of the container. The present invention also relates to a method for producing such a container filled with contents.

  • Publication number: 20040197030
Abstract: A container of a collapsible type for liquid or pulverulent contents, comprising a compartment (3) which is defined by flexible walls and whose volume depends on the relative position of the walls, said walls comprising two opposite side walls (2) with edge portions (4) which engage each other and along which the side walls (2) are joined in a common connecting portion (5). The compartment (3) is sealed in the empty state of the container before filling. The container is characterised by a duct-defining portion (6), which is arranged inside said connecting portion and along which said side walls (2) are joined with each other. The duct-defining portion (6) comprises two mutually separated weld joints (11) which define a duct (7) extended between the side walls (2), which at a first end communicates with said compartment (3) and at a second end connects to and is sealed by a duct-sealing part (10) of said connecting portion (5). The present invention also concerns a method for manufacturing such a container.

  • Publication number: 20040096127
Abstract: A container for liquid contents, comprising a compartment (4) which is defined by flexible walls (2, 3) and whose volume depends on the relative position of the walls (2, 3), a flexible duct means (22), which forms a connection between said compartment (4) and the surroundings. The duct means is bringable to an open state and to a closed state. The compartment (4) has a bottom region (21), in which the liquid contents are essentially collected as the container assumes an upright position. Said walls (2, 3) are, by being actuated by said contents when collected in said bottom region (21), adapted to assume a relative position acting for an increase in volume of the compartment (4), which increase in volume is counteracted by a negative pressure generated in the compartment (4). The duct means (22) is adapted to be brought to said closed state in response to the negative pressure generated in the compartment (4), and is extended from the compartment at an angle to a longitudinal axis of the container.
