  • Publication number: 20140274516
Abstract: A housing device 10 includes a movable pulley unit 20 and a first weight 18. The movable pulley unit 20 is movable among a first position at which a long object is housed within a housing 12, a second position at which the long object is pulled out from the housing, and a third position which is set between the first position and the second position. Whereas the long object is pulled out from the housing when the movable pulley unit 20 moves upward, the long object is housed in the housing when the movable pulley unit moves downward. The first weight 18 is separated from the movable pulley unit when the movable pulley unit moves between the first position and the third position, and moves together with the movable pulley unit when the movable pulley unit moves between the third position and the second position.

  • Publication number: 20140246534
Abstract: A housing device 10 includes a movable pulley unit 20 and a movable pulley holding mechanism. The movable pulley unit 20 is provided so as to be movable relative to the housing 12 in an up-down direction, and is movable among a first position at which a long object is housed within the housing, and a second position at which the long object is pulled out from the housing. Whereas the long object is pulled out from the housing when the movable pulley unit 20 moves upward, the long object is housed in the housing when the movable pulley unit moves downward. Between the first position and the second position, the movable pulley holding mechanism switches between a state where the movable pulley is movable downward and a state where the movable pulley is immovable downward.

  • Publication number: 20140224914
Abstract: A housing device 10 includes a movable pulley 20, (first weights 18), and a guide mechanism. The movable pulley is movable among a first position at which the long object is housed within a housing 12, a second position at which the long object is pulled out from the housing, and a third position which is set between the first position and the second position. The long object is pulled out from the housing when the movable pulley 20 moves upward, and the long object is housed in the housing when the movable pulley moves downward. The first weights 18 are separated from the movable pulley when the movable pulley moves between the first position and the third position, and moves together with the movable pulley when the movable pulley moves between the third position and the second position.

  • Patent number: 6275024
Abstract: In a device for electronically transforming displacement of automobile accelerator lever, an accelerator pedal and a return member are provided, the latter of which returns the accelerator lever back to an original position. A detector device is provided to detect a displacement of the accelerator lever to generate an electrical signal. The detector device has a magnetic plunger which mechanically moves in association with the accelerator lever, and further has primary and secondary coils to surround the magnetic plunger so that the magnetic plunger mechanically moves therethrough. The primary coil is energized to detect an electromotive force produced from the secondary coil. A housing encloses the plunger, and the primary and secondary coils. An engagement piece is fixed to the accelerator lever to actuate a switch which detects whether or not the accelerator pedal is stepped.

  • Patent number: 5924517
Abstract: In the power steering device adapted to transmit a steering force to the front wheels via the pair of cables subjected to a tensile force, there is an apprehension that the cables might be unacceptably slacked to deteriorate the steering performance. To avoid such apprehension, at least one of two casings separately housing a drum on the side of the steering wheel and a drum on the side of the power cylinder is provided with a novel tensioner functioning to tension the inner cables by pressing the rollers against the respective inner cables under the biasing effect of the spring.

  • Patent number: 5598897
Abstract: A power steering device for automobile type vehicles having a hydraulic power cylinder for assisting in steering front end wheels of the vehicle. The hydraulic power cylinder has a piston and piston rod fixed thereto reciprocable in two opposite directions of travel. The opposite ends of the piston rod are linked to respective front wheels of the vehicle for turning the individual steering wheels in a direction in which the piston rod travels. The piston rod has a rack with which a pinion is engaged and rotated by a shaft rotated by a drum coupled to the shaft for effecting manual steering. Another drum is provided and is rotated by the steering wheel by the vehicle driver. The drums are operationally coupled by a pair of flexible cables for rotating the drums by the steering wheel to move the piston rod rack in the desired steering direction. A direction control valve having a rotatable rotor is coupled to the drum which drives the rack pinion.
