    Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an image processing unit and a risk information generation unit. By processing at least one image, the image processing unit identifies a caution-requiring location being a location where a proximity indicator being an indicator related to a proximity state between a plurality of persons satisfies a criterion. The risk information generation unit outputs information indicating the caution-requiring location. For example, the information is displayed on a display unit through a display control unit. For each person, the image processing unit computes a first distance being the distance to the closest person to the person. Then, for each of a plurality of locations, the image processing unit counts the number of times the first distance has a reference value or less. Then, the proximity indicator is set by using the number of times the first distance has the reference value or less.

    Abstract: In a still picture recording and reproducing apparatus, image data are recorded from a communication frame memory directly to a recording medium, thereby editing is carried out and reproduced data, title or the like is stored in a memory. The title is varied by a microcomputer and recorded directly in the recording medium to achieve editing. The still picture recording and reproducing apparatus has a signal changing circuit, a synchro detection circuit, a record format selection circuit, a recording apparatus, a display circuit, and a microcomputer to control these circuits. Recording capacity per one image is set in response to recording format, and the number of residual recordable sheets is displayed. At no-input state, recording is forbidden and this state is displayed. Also the recording format is recorded and at reproducing state, the recording format is detected and the circuit is changed by the signal changing circuit.

    Abstract: Circuitry for automatically vertically centering a video display on the face of a CRT when deviations result from different raster scanning times. A comparator 12 having inputs flanking a resistor 11 connected in series with the vertical deflection coil 3 detects the zero or picture plane center crossing points of the deflection signal. The zero crossing points are then time compared with a pulse signal (FIG. 3(e)) whose width represents the overall time duration of each raster scan for the picture or image being displayed, and a d.c. correction component is applied as necessary to the deflection signal such that the adjusted zero crossing points bisect the duration pulses to thus vertically center the display.
