  • Publication number: 20230252763
Abstract: A model generation method according to the present disclosure is an information processing method executed by a computer, and includes implementing machine learning of an inference model using a plurality of training images. The inference model includes a compression module and an inference module configured to infer a solution of a task for a subregion in an input image. The compression module is configured to generate compression information by compressing information on an extensive region that includes the subregion and is wider than the subregion. The inference module is configured to derive the solution of the task from information on the subregion and the compression information obtained by the compression module.

  • Patent number: 7972743
Abstract: A membrane-electrode assembly (MEA) 1 has a solid polymer electrolyte membrane 2. The membrane 2 has ion-conductive domains 3 and non-ion-conductive domains 4 and an electrode catalyst 5. The electrode catalyst 5 is present selectively on surface sites of the solid polymer electrolyte membrane 2 which corresponds to the ion-conductive domains 3 rather than surface sites of the membrane 2 which corresponds to the non-ion-conductive domains 4. A spray liquid containing the electrode catalyst and a solvent is applied onto a surface of the membrane 2 by electrostatic spray deposition to selectively adhere the electrode catalyst 5 on the surface sites of the membrane 2 which corresponds to the ion-conductive domains 3. The membrane 2 is preferably subjected to a hydrophilization treatment before being sprayed with the spray liquid.

  • Patent number: 7371086
Abstract: The invention provides an anti-unplugging unit attached to a plug of a transmission cord and to be put in a jack of electronic or communications equipment with the plug for preventing unauthorized removal of the plug from the jack. The anti-unplugging unit includes a latch member having an engaging portion for engaging a predetermined portion of a jack when the unit with the plug is inserted into the jack, lock means for selectively allowing or preventing release of engagement of the engaging portion with the predetermined portion of the jack, and a housing fixable to the plug and accommodating the latch member and the lock means. The invention also provides a transmission cord including a first cord having plugs at both ends, and the anti-unplugging unit fixed to at least one of the plugs.

  • Patent number: 7178292
Abstract: A door can be opened from either direction, from the left or the right. A double direction opening mechanism for a door has a first and second hinge pairs (5, 6), a first and a second hinge pin drive mechanism (7, 8), and a first and a second handle (91, 92). When either the first or the second handle (91, 92) is selectively operated, either the first or the second hinge pin pair (53, 63) is drawn out from either the first or the second hinge pair (5, 6). Then, a door (3) is rotated for opening/closing about either or the hinge pin pairs (53, 63) joined to the other of the first or the second hinge pair (5, 6).

  • Publication number: 20060196120
Abstract: The present mechanism makes a door to be openable from either the left or right side. This mechanism includes first and second pairs of hinges 5, 6, first and second hinge pin drive mechanisms 6, 7, and first and second handles 91, 02. By selectively operating either one of the first and second handles, either one of the first and second pairs of the hinge pins 53, 63 are drawn out of the corresponding one of the first and second pairs of hinges 5, 6, and the door 3 is opened/closed by pivoting around the other of the first and second hinge pins 53, 63 coupled to the corresponding other of the first and second pairs of hinges 5, 6.

  • Patent number: 5273631
Abstract: A method is disclosed for determining the concentration of chloride ions and bromide ions employing one and the same serum specimen and one measuring electrode assembly consisting of a working electrode, a counter electrode and a reference electrode which is covered with a polymer film having fine porosity being disposed in a serum specimen. The potential level of the working electrode is cyclically changed within the first predetermined range to determine the total amount of coulombs based on the total amount of chloride ions and bromide ions present with specimen. Then the potential level of the working electrode is cyclically changed within the second predetermined range to determine the amount of coulombs attributable to bromide ions and subsequently the amount of coulombs attributed to the chloride ions concentration is calculated by subtracting the latter from the former and finally determining both ion concentrations by referring to a calibration curve.
