    Abstract: In measurements using a sensor installed in the tip of a robot arm, it is necessary to synchronize a measurement operations of the sensor with the operations of the robot in order to improve the accuracy of the measurement. However, in the cases where the combination of a sensor and a robot is arbitrarily selected, it is not easy to build a measurement system for synchronizing the operations of the sensor with that of the robot. A measurement system configured to perform a measurement using a sensor installed in a robot, includes a synchronous processing unit configured to acquire a robot drive signal transmitted from a robot control unit configured to control the robot to the robot, and generate a trigger signal for triggering the sensor to start a measurement operation when the robot drive signal includes a command signal for the robot to start driving.
