  • Patent number: 11919541
Abstract: Automated drive system comprises a control device. The control device executes run control processing of the automated drive vehicle provided to a driverless transportation service. The run control processing includes carriage porch control processing. The carriage porch control processing is performed when a PUDO position of a user corresponds to a carriage porch of a facility including a zone for run and a zone for PUDO. In the carriage porch control processing, it is judged whether or not there is an empty space in the zone for PUDO. If it is judged that there is no empty space, it is judged whether or not a quick PUDO of the user in the carriage porch is expected. If it is judged that the quick PUDO is expected, a target PUDO position to perform a PUDO action of the automated drive vehicle is set to any position in the zone for run.

  • Publication number: 20070131207
Abstract: A diesel engine (1) cools recirculated exhaust gas in an EGR passage (4) having an EGR valve (6) through heat exchange with a coolant in an EGR cooler (7). The flow of the coolant through a coolant passage (11-13) which circulates the coolant to the EGR cooler (7) is adjusted by a flow control valve (14). A controller (31) calculates the inlet temperature of the EGR valve (6) and the concentration of a soluble organic fraction contained in the recirculated exhaust gas, and determines whether or not a deposit of the recirculated exhaust gas accumulates in the EGR valve (6) on the basis of these values. When the determination is affirmative, the controller (31) controls the flow control valve (14) to reduce the coolant flow, thereby preventing a deposit of a component of the recirculated exhaust gas from being formed in the EGR valve (6) and EGR cooler (7).

  • Patent number: 6928987
Abstract: A nozzle fixing structure which fixes a fuel injection nozzle is used in an engine having a cylinder block and a cylinder head (11). The nozzle fixing structure includes a nozzle pressing arm (14) having a through hole (14a), which fixes a fuel injection nozzle (13); a fixing bolt (15) which is passed through the through hole (14a) in the nozzle pressing arm (14) and tightened to the cylinder head (11); and a cylinder head bolt (20) which is passed through the cylinder head (11) and tightened to the cylinder block. The nozzle pressing arm (14) includes a pressing part (14A) formed on one side of the through hole (14a) and causing a load to act on the fuel injection nozzle (13); and a supported part (14B) formed on another side of the through hole (14a) and constituting the pivot part (21) for the nozzle pressing arm (14) together with the upper end (20c) of the cylinder head bolt (20).

  • Patent number: 4986249
Abstract: To facilitate inspection of ignition coils and ignition plugs without removing intake pipes from the cylinder head, while preventing the ignition coils from being heated by the cylinder head, in V-shape internal combustion engine, plural intake pipes branched from two air collectors are each arranged so as to extend above the cylinder head and across the cylinder line and further being offset away from over each ignition plug, and further plural ignition coils are each arranged over and connected to ignition plugs, respectively. The ignition coils are supported by two opposing support members formed on two outer side surfaces of two adjacent intake pipes.
