  • Publication number: 20130059991
Abstract: A stereoselective olefin polymerization catalyst contains a complex represented by Formula (1): wherein n is 2 or 3; R1 and R2 are independently an optionally substituted alkyl group or a halogen atom; L is a ligand represented by CH2R3, a halogen atom, OR4, or NR5R6; R3 is a hydrogen atom, an aromatic group, or a trialkylsilyl group; R4 is a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and R5 and R6 are independently a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms. A method for manufacturing stereoselective polyolefin, includes polymerizing an olefin in the presence of the catalyst. The present invention provides a catalyst which enables highly isoselective polymerization generating a polymer having significantly high molecular weight and also can prepare stereoselective polyolefin with a narrow dispersity (Mw/Mn) or with a sharp molecular weight distribution, and provides a method for manufacturing stereoselective polyolefin with the catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20110133715
Abstract: Provided is a drive control device capable of surely detecting, by a monitoring/controlling unit, an abnormality of a short circuit and a disconnection in a power supply circuit to an electric load, and of decreasing a load required for a quick response imposed on the monitoring/controlling unit. A switching element is controlled to open/close by a control output signal generated by a monitoring/controlling unit, and a determination storing circuit determines whether circuit opening and circuit closing have been correctly carried out and stores a result of the determination, and periodically reports to the monitoring/controlling unit. While the stored content of the determination is periodically reset, the determination operation is updated and continues. The monitoring/controlling unit does not need to immediately monitor the determination storing signal when the open/closing command is generated.

  • Patent number: 5331383
Abstract: A toner image transferring device has a roller formed of a conductive rubber foam material having a resistivity of more than 10.sup.7 .OMEGA.cm. In a toner image transferring process, a constant current is applied to the roller, whereby a charged toner image can be transferred to a sheet or paper at a desired toner transfer efficiency regardless of a size of the paper or sheet. To remove a toner pollution of the roller, a constant voltage having a polarity opposite to that of the charged toner is applied to the roller. The roller is constituted such that pore openings appear over a surface of the roller, whereby a residual part of a toner polluting the roller will not leave a stain on a rear surface of the sheet or paper.

  • Patent number: 5303013
Abstract: A color picture image formation device includes a plurality of photosensitive body drums and a plurality of image formation sections each consisting of a charge unit, an exposure unit and a plurality of developing units for developing toner picture images of various colors and an intermediate transfer body for holding the toner powder images of required number of colors, which transfers the toner picture images to the recording paper and fixes them thereon by a fixing unit after all the toner picture images have been formed on the intermediate transfer body. A transfer voltage is applied by the intermediate transfer body for every developing unit. The intermediate transfer body is a drum formed as a multiple layer structure including a metallic tube, an insulation layer, a metallic conductive electrode which is split into a plurality of sections, and a voltage application layer on the surface of the metallic tube. A transfer roller transfers the toner-picture images onto the recording paper.

  • Patent number: 5025202
Abstract: A solar cell power system includes a device which determines the occurrence of solar array bus lockup by detecting the voltage of the power bus, the discharge current of the storage battery, and the solar array current (or the load current) and performing a calculation using these items of data in addition to the regulated bus voltage to emit a lockup signal, by which the magnitude of the load is reduced, thereby cancelling the lockup state. Alternatively, a solar cell system may include a lockup cancelling drive device, which accumulates in a coil cancelling-drive, energy supplied from the storage battery and then discharges this energy to the power bus, thereby cancelling the lockup stage without reducing the magnitude of the load.

  • Patent number: 4734720
Abstract: An electrostatic recording apparatus is provided which comprises a recording electrode with a plurality of stylus electrodes and a developing device with a back electrode provided on opposite sides of a recording medium. The recording apparatus is capable of simultaneously processing the forming of and development of a latent image by using the recording electrode which has a magnetic piece embedded at a tip portion thereof. A magnetic field is concentrated in its path and is increased in a narrow gap region between the recording electrode and the back electrode. Toner chains of magnetic particles in the developing process can easily stand upright on the back electrode, and can thus easily and uniformly contact the recording medium. Dot defects on a formed image, are therefore, avoided. The present invention is directed to several embodiments of the magnetic piece and the manner of embedding the magnetic piece in the recording electrode.
