  • Publication number: 20090267459
Abstract: A composite material vibrator includes a vibrating component that is composed of a material having a first acoustic impedance Z1 and that serves as a vibration source, a reflective layer that is composed of a cured product of a resin composition including at least a curable resin curable by heat, a curing agent, and a silicone compound, the cured product having a second acoustic impedance Z2 that is lower than the first acoustic impedance Z1 and that is connected to the vibrating component, and a holding component that is composed of a material having a third acoustic impedance Z3 that is higher than the second acoustic impedance Z2 and that is connected to surface of the reflective layer, the surface being opposite to the surface connected to the vibrating component, wherein vibration propagated from the vibrating component to the reflective layer is reflected at the interface between the reflective layer and the holding component.

  • Publication number: 20040127623
Abstract: An adhesive composition includes a mixture of a ferrite powder and a liquid matrix resin that contains at least one of (A) a polyamic acid and (B) a resin which has an imide bond, is capable of an addition reaction with an amine or capable of self-polymerization, and is capable of dissolving in an organic solvent. The adhesive composition uses a thermally stable polyimide resin and can contain a ferrite powder in such a high density as to form a satisfactorily closed magnetic circuit structure.

  • Publication number: 20020158741
Abstract: A chip impeder includes a body including a mixture of ferrite powder and a resin. At least one coil electrode is disposed in the body. The ferrite powder and the resin are selected so that the cross point of the impedance in the frequency-impedance characteristic lies in the range of about 1 GHz and higher.

  • Patent number: 4563093
Abstract: A voltage and electric field measuring device is disclosed. The device uses light, including a polarizer, an electro-optic crystal consisting of a material having an optical rotatory power, and an analyzer arranged in the stated order in the direction of advancement of applied light, with a quarter-wave plate being disposed between the polarizer and crystal or between the crystal and analyzer. The angle of orientation .psi. of the analyzer, relative to the optical axis of the crystal, is set to the product of .theta. and l, where .theta. represents the optical rotatory power, with respect to the applied light, of the crystal near a point at the center of a range of varying temperatures at the installation environment, and l represents the thickness of the crystal measured in the direction of advancement of light. The specified relation between .psi. and .theta..multidot.l maximizes the temperature stability of the device.
