    Abstract: A composition for a skin patch including a synthetic polymer gel prepared by reacting a water-soluble polymer of an aliphatic carboxylic acid or a salt thereof with a sparingly soluble aluminum compound, an organic acid containing a hydroxyl group in its molecule as a reaction accelerator, and an ethylenediamine compound as a reaction inhibitor in the presence of water at a pH of 4.0 to 6.1. The composition can homogeneously gel at any crosslinking rate and does not cause any change in quality with the lapse of time.
