  • Patent number: 10531238
Abstract: A companion determining device determines presence of a companion of a tracked user. The device includes a receiver, a receipt determiner and a presence determiner. The receiver receives a user identifier from an external device via a near-field wireless communication link. The receipt determiner determines whether the receiver has received the user identifier sent from the external device. The presence determiner determines presence of a companion acting with the tracked user based on determination by the receipt determiner.

  • Patent number: 7607783
Abstract: A document camera has an image processing apparatus, which acquires the contour of an image of an original by means of a Roberts filter. The image processing apparatus detects straight lines as candidates for forming an image of the original from the acquired contour and acquires the shape of a quadrangle of the original. The image processing apparatus determines the projection parameters showing the relationship between the shape of the image of the original and the shape of the actual original from the positions of the corners of the quadrangle and executes an operation of projection/transformation on the image of the original. The document camera outputs the image data of the image to a projector, which projects an image of the original on a screen according to the image data.

  • Patent number: 7542074
Abstract: A computer obtains a change amount of an image of a manuscript. If the change amount of the image of the manuscript is equal to or larger than a predetermined threshold, the computer determines that the image has movement, such as in a case where the manuscript is replaced, and switches the resolution of the image, which is possible to shorten the processing time, to low resolution. In a case where the manuscript is placed on a base, if the change amount of the image of the manuscript is less than the predetermined threshold, and the computer determines that the image does not have movement, the computer switches the resolution of the image to high resolution.

  • Patent number: 7090731
Abstract: A high strength steel sheet having (2-1) a base phase structure, the base phase structure being tempered martensite or tempered bainite and accounting for 50% or more in terms of a space factor relative to the whole structure, or the base phase structure comprising tempered martensite or tempered bainite which accounts for 15% or more in terms of a space factor relative to the whole structure and further comprising ferrite, the tempered martensite or the tempered bainite having a hardness which satisfies the relation of Vickers hardness (Hv)?500[C]+30[Si]+3[Mn]+50 where [ ] represents the content (mass %) of each element, and (2-2) a second phase structure comprising retained austenite which accounts for 3 to 30% in terms of a space factor relative to the whole structure and optionally further comprising bainite and/or martensite, the retained austenite having a C concentration (C?R) of 0.8% or more.
